I think Headley has played okay recently, but I agree that if you play Stockley (and Cole tbf) you HAVE to be putting the ball in the box as much as possible.

Headley is decent as a back up but his defending is comically bad. You can get away with that in L2 but in L1 it really shows. Attacking wise he’s decent though. I think Gordon will be fantastic but hopefully he’s not crocked for life, in and out of the chair from now on - full recovery and he’ll be a player. 

Hope we do well today but fear it’s going be a long afternoon again.

You do wonder what the point in signing Curtis was. Massive wage, never plays, but when he is allowed for a few minutes it’s out of position.

Was gutted to miss this as I’ve been ill for days and not recovered in time… feels less gutting seeing that XI. Negative at home. If we do the long ball stuff again it’s going to be a long dull afternoon.

The worry is the midfield. Three players who to me are much of a muchness. Croasdale would be the first pick for me as he’s got the legs….but then what?

For Byers I really don’t see the hype, and Shipley is another that just looks busy but I’m not sure what he’s doing. George Hall probably should start, but no idea for the third?

Just a big fat mess of a squad that somehow needs sorting this window.

When we sold the club to him and his agent I'm sure this wasn't the plan. 

Even last season he was a bit part player.

I think some don't like him as he's not a traditional flying winger.

That's not his game. 

If we want to win a game of football we need guile not plodders.

Shipley probably tittsed off he's not in the away end at Charlton. 

Lack of communication from Vale to the fans is shocking. Unless I've missed something, not a word about Patton's absence, no recent update on Humphreys supposed concussion, Garrity? Also very few updates on Gordon, Gabriel , Hall etc. This is exactly another example on how to alienate a loyal fanbase.
