May as well have sent Smith packing too and get Ai pick the team. 

So its the same problems we had with dm if our wing backs get pushed back our midfield will be overrun then our defence will be under constant pressure and our forwards will be reduced to spectators feeding off the odd ball smashed vaguely in their direction.

 

All hinges on johnson and clark they have to get forwards and not allow themselves to be pushed back.

 

Depressingly familiar, its like dm never left.

 

smith clearly has no ambitions to ever be a manager.

You know, Moore taking his sack money for an early winter break while still pulling the strings would not surprise me at all!

Will predict around 70 minutes Faal will come on and Cole gets shunted out wide while trying to chase the game again and Curtis will be an unused sub. Why not as it’s proven so successful so far this season.

DM should have gone a couple of months ago.  Fans saw it coming.

Don't think we would be happy. Tell AI to select blank sheet goalkeeper and goal .scorer with recent history against Blackpool, numbers 1 and 36  the answer. 

What on earth have our hierarchy watched for the last 7 weeks that we are now fannying around with Smith picking exactly the same team and tactics in a pivotal time of the season. 

It's scandalous. 

Due to the timing I'd be astonished if a new manager in place for Sunday.

I find it that our caretaker manager, in an attempt to pick up urgent points, has reverted to a formation that has failed miserably all season and a selection with one tweek that was awful at Bradford. The only way it was kept down to a 1- 0 defeat was the effort of the players, trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. We will be at home playing hoofball to our front two, who will be knocking it down to no one. We need to be giving it a go to get 3 points. Not starting a match set up to hang on to a point. His selections are worse than Moore.

A show pony, looks pretty but no end product.

 

Shipley needs games and from what I have seen of him in the cup games he has more to offer going forwards than walters does. Byers and walters were a disastrous pairing against huddersfield.

 

I didn’t mention walters for creativity. I was referring to Hall and Curtis. Irrelevant anyway as we’re playing a back 5 again
