I think Carol will be well aware of Moore's shambolic record. It's probably making her bad.

The problem with Carol is her track record of seemingly not being able to make big decisions in the required timeframe. They're always drawn out and make things worse.

It's not always a bad thing, it's actually likely helping both her and us right now, but she also has a characteristic of going missing when the going gets tough. The problem with that now however is the person left in charge is the former head of community at Burton, who doesn't exactly seem to inspire confidence.

She has made good, positive steps before to install football experience at the club....unfortunately for us, bad luck, that was Flitcroft.

Great point about time frame. 

Crosby clearly given time due to the upcoming Middlesbrough tie. He was fired way way too late.

Moore , well it's the same scenario, although I'm not sure an impending Fleetwood tie has kept his job.

She can't see what unfolds on the pitch and acts when the grim reaper has already tapped Vale on the shoulder.

Bizarre that her undoubted business acumen and astute brain disappears when it comes to football results.

Being good at running an IT database company is in no way a qualification for making football decisions. Neither is running Burton’s community wing.

There should be someone there to do it for her, a top operator ideally with experience of good football clubs. Would save her millions of pounds wasted on horrific decisions.

Beggars the question why Lomax was on the bench doesn't it.

G Hall was our main man today. If anyone was going to score or set up a goal it was him. To put him right back , well it's staggering. 

Lomax I think I've only seen him in the 3-0 win v Blackpool 2 years ago. But why was the lad on the bench, for what actual purpose? 

The biggest worry at the club is possibly not the manager but the hierarchy. 
For all the good they do off the pitch, they cannot make decisions on it. 
When Matt Hancock came out defending their decision to stick by him and saying everybody’s running, it stunk of a man out of his depth.

What he did say is that he hears the fans. If that is the case then the club must act. 
Make no mistake, Port Vale Football Club are a laughing stock right now. No other club in the country would keep this manager on. 
And for all the guff Moore talks and all the guff that the hierarchy talk, in thinking performances are good and it will turn, I’d just like to let them be aware of Darren Moores record as Port Vale manager at Vale Park in league one games. 
Since he took charge in Feb 2024, our home record under Moore reads……..

Won 2.

Lost 11.

I agree spunkers, she's on a very thin tightrope over a cavernous gorge,and its about to give way under her 😬👍

Not quite sure what was worse today…….our defending, the substitutions, Peterborough’s finishing or the linesman nearest to the paddock.
