I said a few weeks ago that only Moore is answerable to his own actions. There's been nobody doing the checks and balances that are imperative. The size of the squad is madness, the recruitment is madness, the tactics are madness and the substitutions are madness but when you've got nobody to push back on decisions, this is what you get.

Anyone of a certain age will remember Jim Cooper...he was the head of community for many years. He did an OK job but Matt is essentially the equivalent and has now been promoted to CEO. He seems a smashing guy but it's way beyond his pay grade and experience. He's essentially running our entire football operation. He's what, early 40s? Zero experience in football other than some community work...a ridiculous appointment.

As I also said, Carol becomes way too friendly with managers. Stop being their mate and be their boss! Then when they're underperforming you can get rid of them.

People keep saying, be careful what you wish for. But there's clearly several owners at this level who are willing to throw away a few million quid each year. But they're not making the inept job of it as Carol is. We should surely be outperforming several clubs in this league. At the end of the season, we'll be essentially in the same place we've started with Carol, but 7 years on. At some point we're going to have to face the awkward truth that she's not a very good football club owner. Great with the community stuff but unfortunately we're not called Port Vale Community Club.

No planning year after year. Just leave it and hope things sort themselves out is her idea of planning. 
 

Over the last few years attendances have increased along with cup runs and TV money where is all the money going? Tolaj, Dipiepa sales, where is all the money going? She can’t even find the money to open the Lorne Street concourse but will put the seats in for the Robbie concert. 
 

To leave the manager in charge with the worst win per centage ratio in league one is dam right embarrassing and shows she DOES not care about the footballing side or the fans as NO ONE wants Darren Moore in charge of OUR club. She employs a CEO who’s experience of football knowledge is running a pub team in Newcastle. 
 

I’m done with this now. My friends and family who attend will not be back next season. YOU’VE created this mess Carol now do the decent thing. IF YOU CANT SORT IT, THEN SELL UP AND LET SOMEONE ELSE SORT IT.

Yeah spending a lot of money for zero on-field progress is a sign that the owners are not particularly good at running things. 

I wouldn’t lose much sleep if she decided she’d had enough and sold up for her original fee. I’m not saying I want her gone, I’ve just become indifferent to her ownership.

Ill say it . I want her gone. Turgid football year after year and she hasnt got a clue how to run a football club. Its a vanity project yes she saved us. But i dont enjoy watching my football team play football and i havent for pretty much 4 years.... mistakes after mistakes and her nepo baby paddy what qualifies him to have any say on how to run a football club.

Honestly that squad with those players shouldn’t be relegation fodder at all , the fault is Moore his tactics and selection, not the players , not Carol , Not Matt hancock . He should have gone after Stockport game . However I think Carol will sell up before she sacks him

I think it's the uncomfortable truth that nobody wants to face Joe. We're not progressing at all...I'm amazed that Synectics is a success because this is an appalling way to run a business. There's almost contempt for the customers at this point.

When people say, be careful what you wish for, I'm often puzzled. There's probably half a dozen clubs in our league throwing money down the drain. Nobody will convince me that Stevenage, Burton, Exeter, Mansfield, Northampton or even Peterborough are making more money than us...yet they're all capable of staying and in some cases thriving in this league. I can guarantee that their owners are p1ssing money up the wall but they know that when things are going wrong they need to change.

I dread to think how long it will take to turn around Moore's disastrous transfers.

Ive played football for 30 odd years and watched football including The Vale for many years. But professional football and professional footballers are different.

I agree with you about Moore - and have not liked his football since he first started. When we last went down the way he set up the team and changed players was awful. No style or plan.

I didn't enjoy last year. Boring and functional even though we got promoted.

I have a season ticket but have been to one game this year. I can leave my house and be sitting in the ground in twenty minutes but the football is so dull I'd prefer to stay at home and watch Sky.

But this is all on the manager. Carol should have replaced him - but hasn't. She is not in charge of tactics etc - and there would be hell up if people thought she was involved with the football.

As I've said before shooting at her is shooting at the wrong target.

She’s not running it very well though! She’s making horrendous mistakes!
