Remember that much touted Jamal Blackman. He's currently at Morecambe. A right fall from grace.

Goodman was easily in top 3 keepers in league 2 last season. Good shout.

Yeah wasn’t it him who only wanted a one year deal with us as he only wanted put himself into the shop window? Not that it worked out any better for us either as we had a year of Stone and Stevens in goal.

It’s something I think can just by itself earn you 5 or 6 points. I’m getting sick and tired of whichever keeper it is we have only having one or two things to do in a game but it inevitably leading to a goal. He gets first team football and we get a quality keeper for half a season. Win-win for all I think.

I think Blackman dined out on the fact that he’d been at Chelsea, earlier in his career. Realised he was never going to make big bucks so signs short term deals 1/2 seasons, then moves on pocketing any signing on fees. I also remember him making a claim of being racially abused by a person at allegedly supporting PVFC.

Keep seeing people on social media say we should get Mullin in on loan from Wrexham after he was recalled from Wigan due to them not playing him.

Not for me. Sure he’s probably better than Faal. But his record above league 2 is terrible and there must be a reason he wasn’t getting a look in at Wigan. Will command decent wages too.

Walsall have had 3 players recalled by their parent clubs today

Rico might get 8 minutes then 🤔

Considering Brady has been announced now could he target a couple of the Northampton players who did well for him

Jon Guthrie CB

Sam Hoskins att midfield(although he has been there 10yrs or so now) both out of contract at the end of the season i think

Brady said he has encyclopaedia knowledge of players in lower divisions and Scotland so hopefully he can identify some targets make us more competitive especially from the subs bench.

Possible shake up of the recruitment team as well?

Targets in Scotland worry me the standard outside the top few teams isn’t great.

I think he'll know that.

The more I look into the background the more I think Foyle might be coming back into the fold as well, maybe a Director of Football if not replacing Darnbrough? According to Wiki he brought Foyle to Northampton with him, so would make a lot of sense.

Big Marc Richards as assistant would be exciting too.

Not too worried about the potential recruitment coming from lower leagues and Scotland, it's the kind of recruitment we used to be brilliant at and something we'd need to get back to to grow the club through player sales in future.

Guthrie was at Crewe for 3 years so knows the area.

33 though, not sure we'd need him and Heneghan. Probably not more than a backup / experienced squad option

Marc Leonard possible loan then permanent deal in summer maybe?
