Brady said he has encyclopaedia knowledge of players in lower divisions and Scotland so hopefully he can identify some targets make us more competitive especially from the subs bench.

Possible shake up of the recruitment team as well?

I'm not sure on all this recall Rico stuff. The guy can't get in walsalls team why would we need him? He's not getting in ahead of G Hall Paton Curtis or even Waine for me so not sure where he fits.

That being said, he's a better bench option than Faal or Brown, send them back and bring him back to take that bench spot might not be such a bad idea

My biggest red flag on Rico is his fitness for someone of his age is abysmal. The lad is gassed out playing longer than 45 minutes. Did some really good things for us last season when coming on late but you need to offer more than that. I do agree it’s a concern as well that Walsall haven’t seen fit to play him. I get that Sadler favours 3-5-2 which doesn’t suit him but so did we under DM which then begs the question why we signed him and after so doing sent him to a team that sets up that way?

the problem is we can use 5 subs so players don't have to last 90+ minutes anymore

Opines one of the world's leading Analists ...

Looks like Salford throwing the cash around in this window. Fleetwood accepted a bid worth potentially up to £600k from them for Ryan Graydon. Thats insane money for someone who is out of contract in the summer.

Think this just shows how poor the value is in the January window and why I’m expecting other than maybe extending Johnson to the end of the season our other business will probably be loans.

Two defenders I think would strengthen us are Ricardo Santos at swansea who we know has been poor when we have played against him but he was highly rated at Bolton and Curtis Nelson(could be off to Plymouth though) at Derby both players have League One interest(i would imagine for loan deals)
