Plymouth just can't help themselves can they first Lorent and now they want Ronan it will be interesting to see what we do here but I can imagine that Ronan will feature a lot more under Brady than he did under DM this season. So, if I was Ronan I would stay for now and see what happens in the Summer.

So just as we appoint a manager who is more inclined to play Ronan in his proper position we’re in talks to sell him. Couldn’t write it.

Brady will play the style of football that suits Ronan and play him in his proper position. I think also Ronan will want to prove himself under Brady and will want to play in his system so I can't see him going anywhere for now.

I guess some of it comes down to what he’d be going to Plymouth as. If it was a starter sure I could see him doing that if it’s just a squad player when he now has the opportunity to establish himself as a starter here then that’s a different story.

And that’s not me saying Ronan is a world beater at all as he clearly isn’t but he’s someone who if I was to put my best Vale XI together now he gets in and frankly the idea of helping a relegation rival unless they are paying us a ridiculous premium for him is something I wouldn’t be keen on.

Tbf it is only a rumour but yes I agree its odd if he does go with him being a winger but then again he has played most of his career down South so maybe he wants to go back down there

It will come down to money. If they offer Curtis a 15 pcent  pay increase he ll want to go and if they offer vale something that JB can spend on his own new player in January then the deal will get done.

I m a Curtis fan he looks fit and healthy at the moment and I was hoping he could grab us a couple of goals in the 2nd half of the season but we need to reduce our squad size to bring players in who JB wants I suppose.

As someone else has just said does Plymouth's scouting network expend beyond whoever plays for Vale because first they took Lorent off us and now they want Ronan. You are aware Plymouth that there are 22 other L1 clubs that you can buy players from so can you stop scouting us for players and look for other targets.

Tbh I'm surprised that Plymouth have even got any money to buy anyone given how at the club forum the other month they were saying that they only had enough to sign a few players in January and then you had the owner admitting that he lent the club £9.8M since they were relegated to L1 last season. 

I am more interested to see who his first signing will be tbh,I mean we all know DM could attract the names but lets see if Brady can attract the quality

I think for this window it'll be more loans we are looking at than anything permanent. Guess the thing we'll find out is whether it really was DM who attracted them or just the fact we pay well.

As I put on another thread Bristol Rovers had a cracking spot with finding Cavegn abroad,it would be good if we could spot one abroad like that,maybe he has seen a younger player at Villarreal as a potential loan or transfer target

It’s funny to see the majority of their social media interaction from fans seem to pretty much pour hate on every player currently playing for them.
 

As for Ronan, let’s not forget that Brady might have other targets in mind and getting rid of him frees up budget and a space. Let’s be honest he’s not really ripped up trees for us has he. Brady might want a known quantity to him for that position? 

Read somewhere over the past few days that it's expected that Tolaj will not stay at Plymouth after the w s of the season and he'll be gone to the Championship. 

Hope we had a good sell-on clause.

You're right he hasn't and this might be damning with faint praise but he makes what I would argue is our best starting XI right now especially if we do play 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 under Brady. If Brady has someone else in mind then that's fair enough and guess the move if it happens is best judged on what he's replaced with.
