Yep, agreed. Send back loanees

Bring back Shorrock, Rico, Plant

Targets In: RW, CB, ST (I'd be happy for these to be loanees)

Formation: 442 / 4231

We're still a bit heavy in some areas, but might need the bodies with the coming fixture congestion

Marc Leonard possible loan then permanent deal in summer maybe?

That would be ideal, and very possible I think.

What about a hard tackling ball holding midfielder? Get rid of the tippy tappy crap.🫡

Brady spent 6 weeks working at Villarreal recently apparently. Let's get some of their squad over here on loan!

Agree LW or RW though and I think we desperately need a midfielder as well.

Brady said he has encyclopaedia knowledge of players in lower divisions and Scotland so hopefully he can identify some targets make us more competitive especially from the subs bench.

Possible shake up of the recruitment team as well?

Given Brady's knowledge of players in Scotland I imagine he would have known about Ruari and his goalscoring exploits at Queen of the South and Queen's Park so if he did he will get the very best out of him IMO. Tbh I see Ruari thriving under Brady as you just know that Ruari will be eagar to impress him plus Brady will find out/possibly already know from scouting him what makes him tick, what his strengths are, improve any weaknesses he may still have and then coach him into a better and more productive all-round striker.

Looking back at Northampton's transfers when he was there, there were a few players that came in from Scotland

Very sceptical about Scotland.

For example Tanser, Montano, Uche and Iacovitti all ply their trade in the top flight.

Wasn't Chris Robertson from there too.

Obviously there's good players up there and I'm not suggesting we don't look but the standard is pretty ropey.

A lot of League one and two cast offs end up there. Michael Mandron another one off the top of my head.

It will be interesting to see who his first signing is just to see what calibre of player he can attract

Although he does have a reputation I guess of developing or making relatively unknown players better

Keep seeing people on social media say we should get Mullin in on loan from Wrexham after he was recalled from Wigan due to them not playing him.

Not for me. Sure he’s probably better than Faal. But his record above league 2 is terrible and there must be a reason he wasn’t getting a look in at Wigan. Will command decent wages too.

Even A Traffic Cone would Put Faal to shame , TBF

I'm not sure on all this recall Rico stuff. The guy can't get in walsalls team why would we need him? He's not getting in ahead of G Hall Paton Curtis or even Waine for me so not sure where he fits.

That being said, he's a better bench option than Faal or Brown, send them back and bring him back to take that bench spot might not be such a bad idea
