As for Ronan, let’s not forget that Brady might have other targets in mind and getting rid of him frees up budget and a space. Let’s be honest he’s not really ripped up trees for us has he. Brady might want a known quantity to him for that position?

Well, he hasn't been allowed to show what he can do this season as 1. When he's come off the bench he has only had a few minutes, 2. Not been in the matchday squad half of the time and 3. When he has played it has been out of position at LWB. He's clearly a very talented player and we have misused his talents from the moment we signed him as we have never played him in his correct position and you only need to see how well he did at Portsmouth to realise this as he is their joint record goalscorer in the 21st century with 57 goals.

You're right he hasn't and this might be damning with faint praise but he makes what I would argue is our best starting XI right now especially if we do play 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 under Brady. If Brady has someone else in mind then that's fair enough and guess the move if it happens isb est judged on what he's replaced with.

It’s fair to say that he’s never really played consistently in a position that suits him. I can’t see us getting rid without having someone else in mind though.

I used to think the same thing back when Clarke was in charge, which is why would a winger come and sign for us when we don’t play a system that suits wingers?

Not disagreeing with any of that.  I’m just saying that Brady may need to get people out of the door to get in people he knows better.

Yeah for Curtis under DM read Dennis Politic under DC. Neither ever really got the best out of them outside fleeting moments.

Be interesting what other outgoings there are going to be this month. My guess is next week we’ll start to see some movement on the loanees both ones we’ve taken and sent out.

In terms of the ones coming back although I like Shorrock along with Plant we are kidding ourselves if we think recalling them will help us get out of this seasons mess… I think Plant probably isn’t quite good enough for league 1 and Shorrock needs a decent loan where he actually plays to develop him but neither of them would get in our team currently.

Richards is too much of a luxury player and too lightweight anyway.

So I m not sure recalling any of those lads wil be priority for the new manager but let’s see.

Im not a fan of getting rid of players who can do something out of nothing

When Curtis on pitch for Vale always more threatning and even if game looks like its lost he can do something incredible like last minute v Cheltenham away

Not particularly pleased thst Plymouth want him hes one who would flourish under a attacking formation

I can see why Plymouth want him him and Tolaj combine well

We will see

Who would i move on i dont know but not Curtis

Obviously based on his playing minutes Curtis could well have been looking for a move, but with a change of management maybe less keen now. Other factors could be in play, equally all a rumour and conjecture.

Tbh if DM had stayed in charge I reckon Ronan might have been looking for a move or even left the club but now we have appointed Brady I can see him playing a lot more so I reckon he will stay and then reconsider his future in the Summer.

This could be very bad news for Vale.  If he does go, hope Vale have a back up plan and bring someone in better than Curtis.

Brady already has a mission impossible, without creative players (when playing in their best positions) who make Vale play better going to teams around us.

Bet they will break the wages bank to get his name and you know what that will mean - See ya Vale on more money.

If we get a transfer fee - no doubt the ever giving Vale will allow them to pay over the next 100 years.

Still has 18 months on his deal so assuming no clause make them pay big bucks if they want him or say no thank you.

Transferring a player to a possible relegation rival is something I would prefer to avoid.

We’re turning into Plymouth Argyles new Bury

Exactly we have already lost Lorent to them albeit they met the release clause I certainly don't want them to have Ronan as well. It would feel like they were well and truly rubbing it in our faces.
