Would track, bringing in a jailbird because likely nobody will take the chance on us.

What next, Joey Barton for manager?

Must be 2013 all over again.

Does he fit carols nicey nice profile. Would she have sanctioned Lee Hughes ? Or is she overjoyed at  a sinner repentance.

They'd agreed those deals weeks ago. They just couldn't officially announce them until today.

Vale could help lighten the mood significantly today by announcing Faal has been sent packing back to Wrexham. Probably get a good idea on his initial future once the matchday squad is announced today.

Yes for sure.

Lard already sent one of theirs back.

A terrible signing Faal.

He'll probably start today...

I think most of us agree that we should recall our loan players so a new manager can take a look at them, well if the manager plays with wingers then i would like to see Shorrock tried as a left winger(maybe in the trophy game),we know he can take a player on and has a wicked cross on him as well as a shot.

As much as I like Mitch, we have to get rid end of season along with Gabriel. Signing injury prone players is just daft.

Mitch played 49 games for Accrington the season before he joined us.

This season, Mitch has so far played in 13 of our 32 competitive games (the top of that appearances list is Ronan Curtis with just 27 appearances).

Mitch is a talented and committed player, so it would make more sense to judge at the end of this season whether he has done enough to earn another one-year contract extension.

If he gets up into the 30s for appearances and plays well throughout, I'd argue that he should, as he definitely adds to the quality of the team when he is on the pitch.

He's played the equivalent of about 90 mins in total during his loan. We saw Chester on Tuesday and he warmed up,was told he was going on,then they scored the 2nd goal and he stayed on the side warming up. A complete waste of Jack, and Vales time. He'll be nowhere near match fit

Funnily enough Faal played ok yesterday.

He did as he put himself about and when Peacock-Farrell had the ball he closed him down and it nearly hit him numerous times. It was noticeable that he really seemed to enjoy himself yesterday as he was constantly smiling and was buzzing everytime we scored even during the warm-up before kick off he was having a laugh and a joke with Ronan and the crowd.

It’s a lot easier when you come on and the team are 3-1 up and the opposition are down to 10 men.
