A/ will be very rough but the sensible business decision. 

B/ nothing more than a big gamble and throwing more money at it.

This is where we need strong leadership from the owners not silence.

I would rather them write the season off. Let Devaney or Ireland take over until the end of the season and see if they can get a tune out of the players.

I really don’t see the point in spending money now.

Plus it’s going to be hugely difficult to attract any player capable of making an immediate impact.

I would be slightly more concerned about who has put in a transfer request because they don't want to continue playing for Moore and who in their right mind would currently want to come and sign for us unless absolutely nobody else wants them and they are out of contract?

For starters, I'd enquire at Millwall about Benicio Baker-Boaily and other clubs  about similar quality wingers with a view to a loan. I'd also recall Rico.

Anyone can go for me at this point. We have a large portion of the squad out of contract, the only lads with multiple year deals remaining are the new players recruited this year who will not want to drop down and play in L2.

Whatever happens this season there is going to be a huge overhaul in the summer.

We need leaders. In management, ownership and on the pitch.

IMO some horrible bastards and try to make a fist of staying up. It won’t be pretty but neither has the first part of the season. We need some grit, guts, strength and pace through out the team. Would also be nice to have some players who can play multiple games in a row! 

i have no faith in the current regime to make the january transfer window be successful.  first on my p45 list would be that former stoke head of recruitment. whoever gave him a job at vale should follow him out of the door . and fast.

I've been completely honest before, I don't really take much notice about football outside of us! I know the teams and who's doing well and who's not, but individual players? I can't really offer a lot.

However, what I am certain of is that we can't give Moore this window to spend. Even if he were to bring in a 'name' he would just rip any confidence from them.

If Moore is staying, which I think likely, then we should just write the season off with what we've got (F me, how sad is that to say out loud before even reaching new year). Or push the boat out and get a good calibre manager brought in who has targets lined up and people to bring in around him to try and salvage the season. But that's a hell of a gamble.

No decent league one player is going to want to come to us in Jan so may aswell shut up shop and accept our relegation with what weve got n not waste any money.
