I really don't think we should spend a single penny till we have a new manager and recruiter. It would be good money after bad.

I like the idea of dismissing DM and getting a senior player (Garrity/Stockley?) to take over till the end of the season.  It can't possibly get any worse and will lessen the financial blow.

It would also give CS the time to conduct a proper recruitment process for the new manager, to be undertaken with advice from a seasoned pro (Pulis, might he even be interested in a DoF role?)

Just seen a rumour on X we’re in for Brandon Williams ex Man United left back.

Would track, bringing in a jailbird because likely nobody will take the chance on us. 

What next, Joey Barton for manager?

Must be 2013 all over again.

Very tricky dynamic though because overnight the guy taking over goes from colleague to boss - and his team selection will show who he rates and doesn't rate. It would take a strong character to do this and for all we know there may be no player who wants the stress and pressure.

In all honesty the only priority in this window for me is to send all these loans back once it’s opened. Recall the ones we’ve sent out and see what we have with them and whether they have a long term future at the club.

What I’m not doing is throwing no good money after bad in some forlorn hope we can stay up. In fact I’d be doing the opposite and seeing if can move some contracted players on.

Not sure he has been,he got a 14mth suspended for 2yrs for driving without insurance,dangerous driving and he had also accumulated 30 points on his licence

Recruitment involves monitoring lots of players and sometimes it takes a couple of years to get a target to sign for the club. This is real life rather than football manager 😅 

We have never signed a wrong 'un under Carol so I'd rule out Brandon Williams. Well except for Kian Harratt but he seemed like an innocent young lad before we signed him.
