Haven't seen any updates on Darren Moore being snapped up. Perhaps folk have suddenly realised that he isn't Gods Gift .

Isnt the WHOLE Turkey football setup under investigation for match corruption ? Perhaps his team didnt have enough moolah to bride the Refs / owners/ players / bookies etc.   If your in a team and YOU know that the outcome of most matches is already predetermined by bribery it may just make you think what the fook can I achieve here that reflects my ability ?

They play in a 77,000 capacity stadium so maybe that is motivation. They only have attendances lower than Accrington Stanley though. Weird set up

Unusual to see a player with over 100 Championship and 100 Premiership appearances drop down to our level in the modern era of mega salaries at the top.

Andre Gray, best signing we've made in 10/20 years, only way is up.

Considering our el crappo season, last night was pretty much bouncing on here 👏👏👏👏👏👏 well done beautiful bouncing valiants

As long as we go out there each game and give our best, that is all we can ask for 😁👍💜💜💜

and Leigh-Anne was always my favourite little minx 😁👍

The reality about the January transfer window is that the vast majority of players available are the ones that other clubs want to get rid of. So they will not be that great. Unless a club is prepared to splash out a large wedge of money. In our current position, players who cost a lot aren't going to come to us. So we were never going to get much better than what we got.
Andre Grey could well be a bit of a game changer. Hopefully, he comes good.
I was sad to see Clarke and Paton go, as I thought they were decent players with the attitude needed for a relegation fight. However I will soon get over that if we start winning again.

Makes me laugh some people on here moaning because we’ve signed a 34 year old striker, wonder if they would moan if we signed Cristiano Ronaldo (41) or Messi(38) or Harry Kane (33)this year.

Probably!

He’s got another 3.5 years holiday pay.

We are now stronger than before the window. Different strikers up top let’s see how it goes. We had too many wasted chances previously so let’s see if these can hit the net.

Where does it say that?

On the Vale APP thing

In total, he has scored 205 goals – including three for Jamaica – in 585 senior appearances.

The forward will link up with his new team-mates at Vale Park next week.

So, looks like his debut will be the FA Cup game (assuming fit). Could be an excellent signing his fitness is there and speed has not completely deserted him with age.

Squad:

GK - Gauchi / Amos

DR - Gabriel / John

DL - Campbell / Gordon

DC - Humphries / Magloire

DC - Hall / Heneghan

MR - Hall / Waine

ML - Archer / Headley

MC - Byers / Ojo

MC - Croasdale / Walters / Garrity

FC - Sherif / Brown

FC - Gray / Stockley

Reserve - Lomax, Shorrock

Left out Shipley as I don't think he gets a look in now.

Really liking the balance of the squad, still has the ability to go 3 / 5 at the back if you have a man in the hole behind the strikers as well.

As sad as I am about Paton it would be hard to see him getting much opportunity with the squad being as large as it is.

How long til the club announce Gray has the #91 shirt?

We used to have a 49,000 stadium

Looks good on paper. Let's see if he looks as good on-pitch.

Well JD has certainly been very pro-active! The squad at least now looks more balanced. Let's hope that the teams he now picks are as active on-pitch as the manager has been off it!

To be fair, and maybe it’s because players aged faster back in the day, but Ronnie Futcher was only 31 when we signed him!

Bloke had a hard paper round.

He just looked 51.
