Curtis and Cole had bad attitudes and didn't want to be here...that's why they both left and rightly so.

I'm not aiming this personally at you but Vale fans have an historical penchant for favouring workrate over ability. It's why players like Constantine and even Byers at the moment are not rated because they don't run around like a loon. I thought Gabriel had 2 or 3 really good games in a row once he'd settled and got up to full fitness..he had a great game at Wimbledon. He's probably not up to full fitness after being out for nearly 4 months and perhaps isn't quite committing yet to everything.

To move forwards, we need players with quality on the ball and Gabriel is far superior to Mitch. Effort and workrate are great up to a point, but they don't impact on the game.

If this is true or not with Cole telling the board he will not kick a ball for vale if the Luton move did not happen ?. Didn't speak to the gaffer either?

The last Andre we signed was Andre Bikey

No one got near him

Probably due to his size 44 waist

Made Bob Haxell look svelte

just like lv said, if you don't run around like a headless chicken you're lazy according to some vale fans.
It's just so weird.

I dont think he was used properly, or the service was any good to him. Looked fed up more than anything.

Solving the problem of needing it in the 6 yard box for a poacher by getting a player that can bang them in from 20-25 yards. I'll take that trade.

What a strange transfer 😄

Would be even stranger if they'd wanted him fit and playing for the whole loan spell!

Can't do that.

There are some people who post almost daily on here and they are never happy unless they are slagging the club off.

I can't do that.

Ignore the nay slayers

To me Cole was always trying. Not easy playing the lone striker in a side that creates little. Always looked good with a partner. Anyway, turned out great for us this.

At first I would agree, but he looked totally disinterested for a while. I have the impression he thinks he is far better than he actually is.

To fit in with last orders!

The sun goes down later there

Makes me laugh some people on here moaning because we’ve signed a 34 year old striker, wonder if they would moan if we signed Cristiano Ronaldo (41) or Messi(38) or Harry Kane (33)this year.
