Looks a solid, hard to beat team to me, going for Vale to nick it 1-0.

Walters and Clarke not even on the bench is odd.  Will look like a great decision at 5pm if we win, but surely Walters has picked up a knock not to be even on the bench?

Who would you drop from the bench ?

Ojo is there for midfield cover. The strange one is three forwards, Curtis, Faal and Brown. I would sooner have Walters for one of those three, if he is fit.

They sim for the centre goal then it goes into one either side.

They aim. Bloody predictive text.

Faal. No need for three forwards on the bench and he isn’t very good. Walters mustn’t be fit, I don’t think Moore would just leave him out completely

Agreed - I would have rested Mo Faal and put Rhys Walters in there.

Saving him for the gooners

Byers is on borrowed time for me. He is the highest earner at the club and is getting out performed by Walters who for some strange reason isn’t even in the squad today. Yet another decision that could end up costing Moore his job in a few weeks.

Walters has no goals and no assists, until that changes significantly he isn't competing for a place with byers he is competing for a place with ojo, croasdale and garrity. We need a creative midfielder which at this point is between byers and shipley neither of whom are delivering at the moment. Where hall fits in we wont know until we see him play but my guess is hall is bad news for byers and shipley and walters will alternate with ojo, garrity and croasdale  and it will be based on minutes played and all that crap that works in the premier league when you have multi million pound players on the bench but doesn't work at our level where we need to play our best available eleven every game.

Come on Vale.  3 points please.

Need to start converting some of the chances the side makes.

I’d sooner have my blue recycling bin on the bench over Faal based on last week. Atrocious.

Good lad paton

He should have started last week!

Starting Waine and Faal over him bloody laughable. Cole and Paton is a good partnership let’s stick with them now
