Ok so its try to pick the team, and get it wrong because dm picks over half the team based on player minutes, time.

 

I'd put debrah back in because we need his  pace, probably for heneghan and I would play mitch rwb. Im not bothered which lwb he plays as neither have an all round game so gordon if he wants to be generally better defensively or headley if he wants better going forwards.

 

If pushed to choose I would go with curtis alongside cole up top but its a close call so I wouldn't mind if he went with paton. I would tolerate brown just to get a better look at him but if its faal I won't be happy he is a threat from set pieces but his overall game is poor so he is an impact sub at best.

No in all seriousness that's a fair line up based on last weeks efforts/form and looks decent on paper! Walter is perhaps the only one who can consider himself unlucky, unless he's injured?  Watch us lose 3-0 now I've said that🫣

I think Byers is the luckiest player in the squad. He's not played as well as either Walters or Ojo in any game so far. Not too sure what Exeter's forward line is like. If they've got height Heneghan is the right call, if they are similar to Doncaster he struggles. Clark not at least on the bench is a big call.

They have 35 year old Josh Magennis up front who is 6ft2 so fair enough to me.

Don't mind the lineup. If Garrity plays more advanced should allow a forward ball option for Byers or at least I hope.

Midfield looks off to me. Ojo had to start today, the fact Walters isn’t in the squad and Ojo still isn’t starting is bizarre. Happy to see Paton start but the midfield is lacking imo. No way should Byers be starting after how he’s played. not really sure why Garrity is starting either

I agree,I thought Byers was done for a few games after his last performance but we have to go with what DM thinks,it's time for Byers to prove himself.

Other than that I think the team is spot on other than Clark who must still be carrying an injury

Not sure I agree at league 1 level. He’s rarely fit as well
