What happened after that though 😮

Precisely my point, can't judge how a season is going to unfold after just 7 games.

We've been the better team in most of our matches this season, it just needs to click.

Hopefully they can make the long train journey worthwhile. Interesting to see what DM does with the forward line. I think Ruari deserves a start but also won’t shock me if he goes with Stockley alongside Cole to do the job that Faal was incapable of doing last weekend. Reckon we should get a Garrity sighting in this one, really needs a run of games now as am sorry to say it as I’m a huge fan of his but the injury prone tag is following him around now.

I think he will switch between Hall and Garrity in games(rotating them) to protect both players and hopefully get the best out of them

Yeah no issues with that and definitely makes sense. Just going off DM’s press conference Hall won’t be ready until at least the Mansfield game so Garrity needs to be staking a claim today.

Don't care how but we desperately need a win, the obvious is the obvious. Like to see Rauri start with Devante up front, and preferably an attacking midfielder.Big Mo needs to be an impact sub.

We are lacking a bit in the link up play between forwards and the midfield imo.

Something has to give as our perfomances don't do our league position justice, hopefully today is the day. A win will do everyone the world of good. These are off the boil abit so are there for the taking.

UTV 💪 KTF 🙏

Last time we were in League 1 we had already picked up 16 points by this stage, W5 D1 L1. Just goes to show how long the season is. If we are still in this position end of October then that would be worrying.

Be worrying if we’re in this position in 3 games time nevermind the end of October.

From the last we were in this League judging a team after just 10 games is a bit unfair. We witnessed what happened last time, and surely after the first 10 games last time around you weren't thinking we were going to get promoted?

I agree whilst ten games is a good marker how many times do you see teams top of the league at this time drop to the bottom of the table and then you also see teams start poorly and click into gear and begin kicking on. Whilst its a good yard stick its not completely accurate on how the season will go.

Correct. We witnessed Walsall do it last season.

Just arrived in Exeter, traffic is a bit manic because of the women's world cup rugby game about to kick off...

If we lose today then I think Moore has two more league games to save his job. If we haven’t won a game by then we need to change it.

Completely disagree. It’s fair to judge a team after a quarter of the season. You do get teams that tail off or start to perform but generally if your not winning in 10 games against some quite nice fixtures then I’d say it’s time to worry.
Of course I didn’t think we would go up but if we go 10 games without a win I would be seriously concerned about staying up. It’s not a fair comparison that you make, if we were Luton or Cardiff and were top after 10 I’d think we would go up. Similarly if Cardiff or Luton without a win in 10 I wouldn’t be overly worried about relegation.

But we’re port vale, recently promoted and let’s be honest still have a fair few players not good enough. If we go 10 games without a win Moore has to go otherwise we will struggle to stay up especially when you look at who we have actually played.

I do think the above is irrelevant as a fancy us to win today

I'm not sure another manager solves the issues at present.

It isn't structural. It isn't morale. He hasn't lost the players.

Just a combination of really stupid stuff at the wrong times + some bad luck.

Sometimes the writing is on the wall for a manager and his system just isn't working/the players have given up/the fans have turned. I think we're miles away from that yet.

The issue now is finding the right formula after a poor spell, which he did twice last season. This is his bread and butter in a league he's done very well in.

If we were struggling and getting comfortably beaten, then you would have a point. Our position doesn't reflect our performances, we have been the better team in the majority of our matches

Moore will given untill Christmas.

The time that DM’s position comes into question would be if there were signs he had lost the team. I defy even the most ardent Moore hater to try and argue that as the performances wouldn’t have been the way they were. Would also note I remember last season when some were calling for his head but the truth is it was pretty evident it was very much a online thing but not translated into real life at the games and see no evidence otherwise to suggest different now.
