No, very true. My last favourite big league 1 win was probably the Sheffield United Boxing Day clash that we won about a decade ago.

We did of course have  big away win over Bolton a few years back.

Yeah whilst not great we've gone to Derby and Bolton and won at least. Sheff United we beat a couple of times at home, Uche of all players scored a stunner I recall the season after that off the bar and in, but always feels at home we never really produce a big performance in these type of games.

As long as we are at it from the off we should give them a game. Throughout DM's tenure we've put everyone to sleep for the first 60 mins of games and then come on strong at the end. That worked in League Two but won't in League One (as we saw on Saturday).

Hoping to see Curtis start.

It will include all the “sold” 1876 member tickets too and I can’t turn up for this one, like a few others due to the Thursday kick off.

Yes but it includes the Cardiff game for 30 quid so why not get it and sell it ,at a very reduced price as im doing as my lad who has a membership ,im a season ticket holder makes sense try get rid of what comes with your membership and if sells you get a few quid .

Be up to 11k by kick off time 2000 cardiff plus included in that fair play to them.

Is it? I think the jury is out on that one. The DC squad was great early on in league 1 until January. I don’t think we have shown football quite as good since under DM.

Hell yeah. This was the lineup and subs in the opening home game of the season.

I'm struggling to see who would get in our 11 - Hall & Garrity aside. The sub options for L1 were horrendous.

DM's record in L1 is far better than DC.

You were to quick for me mate - I was just adding Mr Hall in the edit.

What we need is a goalkeeper who is un- flappable.....pity we have one that is. Unfair on him but made a few smile at work so thought I'd give it a run out here.

Prepared give the bloke a chance. Can't escape the fact that the 2nd goal was a terrible flap by him.

Not a fan of a keeper who punches all the time either.

But he's proven at the level. He needs to calm down, sharpish.

Unsure what the team selection will be but pretty sure it will be 3 upfront and 2 in midfield.😁

Yeah I suppose they were certainly one of the big clubs. No question.

We need a GK who stops every shot, catches and holds onto every shot, commands his area completely, catches every cross, is excellent in his distribution and never lets a pass go astray, has the long kick accuracy of an Exocet missile, and is basically unbeatable. Should be easy enough to find at L1 level

9,510 sold for the first home game, per the club's Facebook.

Not all of those will turn up though,I dont think me and my lad will be there sadly(already had my money anyway) down to Sky

So my guess will be around 8.5k which would still be good for a Thursday night
