Tough game.

In my view any point on the board will be a good result to get the season up and running.

I agree a point will be a bonus against a team I think will be there abouts at the end of the season 👍

Incredibly tough game as we don't ever seem to do well against the so called big sides at home such as your Derby/Sheff Weds/Bolton type opponents like this.

A point would be solid enough with more a run of more favourable games to follow.

Santa,

The CrossCountry Replacement Bus is supposed to be running from Stoke Station to Stockport and stops beyond.

Thanks but I really need to be there in time for kick off.

I agree with that but will add a caveat to say we play a very different way than the DC/AC teams and this squad is more talented than those games in the past and DM has more nous and experience to get a positive result.

This league is as strong as its ever been .

Cardiff will be very good for sure .

Vale have a really good set of players ,with a sprinkling of what you need win games ,in my opinion ..

Be nice if seats selling well ...

Be nice if all who went v Gillingham, turn  up (they wont though)and see a performance which is fitting to them turning up .

I cannot wait sing DM Black and White Army .

Hope theres a tolaj, jota song

Tolaj looked sharp as other day.

Curtis has a habit of  scoring v Cardiff  ive heard him state keep it going lad .

He can do it in a blink of a eye ,R Richards will ne ready to produce, and i wouldmt be surprised see G Byers head or rifle one home

Lets build our players up

They are very very good .

Also got young Shorrock too burst at them along with the magnificent Clark

I think this post sells the ground out

9510 sold ive just read .

Vale will get something is my prediction

Best time to play them is very early in the season IMO.

Let's be loud and be the 12th man. We can do this. 💪

9,510 sold for the first home game, per the club's Facebook.

Does that include away tickets?

Was literally posted 10 mins ago and no reply from admin. I'm going to say yes.

Good return, hopefully see over 10,000 on the day.

It will include all the “sold” 1876 member tickets too and I can’t turn up for this one, like a few others due to the Thursday kick off.

Is it? I think the jury is out on that one. The DC squad was great early on in league 1 until January. I don’t think we have shown football quite as good since under DM.

No, very true. My last favourite big league 1 win was probably the Sheffield United Boxing Day clash that we won about a decade ago.

We did of course have  big away win over Bolton a few years back.

Moving this fixture and also the complete closure of Stockport station for several weeks is a massive PITA.

Fair enough.

Not sure which Stockport game you are planning to watch before 23rd August, but good luck.

Or maybe you're wanting to travel somewhere else via Stockport?

The CrossCountry Replacement Bus running from Stoke Station to Stockport takes 1 hour 24 minutes, station to station.
