Check Harper out for Grimsby's penalty. He had 3 chances to follow the guy but was 2 yards behind with his thinking. Shocking. Half asleep.

His selection/ performance cost us the game. No doubt about it in my mind.

Vale have scored in all 9 away games this year

Scored 14 in the last 5

Wimbledon have won 3 put of their last 14 and scored 2 in their last 4 games

Tolaj has scored 5 in 5

It's all positive from me

The concern for me is we start how we have the last 2 games and it could be game over, Wimbledon so much better defensively than Grimsby and Carlisle and go 2 down, we will struggle to get back in the game.  Bradford, Walsall and Bromley we start on the front foot, in the faces very early and they could not live with us, last 2 games we have started slowly and passive.  We need to get into these early on like we did before we went top and for me we have better players and can win this game.

That's why I quoted the fact that Wimbledon are struggling for goals whereas we aren't.

I agree we have conceded too many and I agree we need to set the tempo. Whilst we can only do what we can do,I'm sure the Bradford v Donny game has huge huge pressure on it

Got a Wimbledon win written all over it then 😁

I agree about the tempo, and that seems to be an active tactical decision: to either press rapidly or stand off and let teams have the ball at the back. I think with us we are either 100% pressure and boxing in or the complete opposite. That decision alone can cost / win this team points because Moore is (rightly) picking and choosing when to adopt it. We seem to like to sit off away from home, but against Carlisle we should have pressed. I think this will be the Notts County / MK approach.

We beat Doncaster away with Hackford and Lowe starting. This is several levels down in difficulty.

That's the spirit Fuzz!

Focus that's the pre match talk .

Take no notice of what's going on around you .

Do your job I'd love it if go into last 20 0-0 as the way we have finished games lately it be a away win .

However if we started games like that we surely would score so how do Vale approach this game who knows not long to go to find out .

Moore seems quite calm and so he should be Headley gives us another dimension going forwards ,Curtis will know all there team generally as will chislett .

Stevens is decent, but having watched them at Doncaster the other week player for player we have a better team than them ,Ryan Johnson was falling out with there fans last week ,Vale need get at them as soon as play starts .

The away following need be louder than they have ever been.

I'll be watching in mountains in Mercia and I'll be be doing the hokey cokey if they win and the Spanish locals will be thinking who's this loon and where's this Port Vale place

We had a real chance to win the league over Easter , or at least get promoted. Leon Legge said tonight that no one remembers who got promoted, but everyone remembers who finished as champions. At this stage , I’d snap your hand off for promotion.

Tell them its Porto Valeo, from boslemo. 😂

I’m hoping we win and Bradford can take some points off Doncaster so we go to the final game with the chance of being champions being in our hands.

Sorry NO, I will be rooting for DONNY......
