I think we know the manager won't play with Rico, Chissy or Curtis in that position behind the front 2 but for me when we have 3 centre backs, one of the 3 midfielders should be an attack minded player, I feel with Croasdale and Walters, they are more than capable of holding their own up against anyone.  I just think it restricts us going forward just having no natural forward thinking midfielder.

If let loose i actually think Walters could play in an advanced role,he has the trickery to get past players

I do think he will start with 3 natural midfielders probably Byers,Croasdale and Walters with either Byers or Walters a bit more advanced

surely now Walters has had a few less minutes over the last couple of games,  the midfield 3 will be him and Crossdale and Byers ? No need to change the system to shoe in Curtis or Rico in there at this stage of the season ?

I think Curtis will be really important here - he never stops running, trying to create space and his movement off the ball is excellent.  Players like Debs and Smudge are always looking up for movement and can freeze if there's none.

On the question of Harper, what he does offer is a bit of height and physicality, which could tip the balance in his favour to start again on Saturday.  I can see it being a  battle and both teams not playing too much football.

I'd pick Harper on the basis no-one can play that badly two games running !!

It'd be 3 games. Don't forget his last game before Monday was Barrow at home. He's simply not good enough for a top 3 team. We need to be ruthless. Sentiment won't get you promoted.

I'd rather play with 10 men than play Harper. At least the missing player can't misplace passes or make mistakes that lead to goals.

My stomachs been in knots for the last 4 weeks, the sooner we get over the line the better 😬

Hope Mitch is fit for this one! Just as a side note debs did very well in the last few minuets against Grimsby. On the charge he can beat a few players plus he has a nice turn of pace.

The whole of our back 4 look up to see where Stockley’s head is. I don’t agree with it but I don’t see too many passes over 20 yards aimed to anyone but Stockley.

While I agree, and there is far too much of that - and if we play just up to Stockley's head against Wimbledon then we're going to have problems (they're a tall, very physical side) we are also very good at playing it along the ground, when we choose to.  Walters and Mitch are good at it, as is Tolaj and Curtis, its also crying out for someone like Byers to show his class.  Headley, as he showed on Monday for half an hour, is brilliant at running at people with the ball at his feet.

Agree, we play a wing back system but don’t use our wide guys enough.

Exactly this.

I thought Rico should start but I'm prepared to go with Byers and hope he/Croasdale/Walters push Wimbledon back.

If we play like we did last 20 minutes then there's goals in the team. However we can't be chasing the game again.

Can you believe that we have a fully bit Byers but you and I (and others) would prefer to start with Walters?

I think that Croasdale gives us more of a balanced midfield if he's playing further up the pitch and have Byers & Rhys sitting in
