I’m hoping we win and Bradford can take some points off Doncaster so we go to the final game with the chance of being champions being in our hands.

If Doncaster win and we Bead Wimbledon. Promotion is secured.

If we win ideally we want a draw with Doncaster-Bradford as that means we are promoted (Bradford would be 4 points behind) and we are then also top of the league 2 points clear of Doncaster so in the box seat for the title.

If we draw, we probably want to concede the title and hope for a Doncaster Win as that would put us three points clear meaning we'd need a point to guarantee promotion v Gillingham

If we lose we'd need three points regardless to guarantee finishing above Bradford so anything other than a Bradford win would do.

Why would the lad be disinterested in winning a league .

In last game v Wimbledon did he not stroke one home ,have a free kick R Richards put in and was generally magnificent and let's face it majority if not all Vale fans love him .

So I'm asking why has he become omitted from the squad ,team ,surely his lung busting runs  straight at the heart of oppositions back fours  throats, is a asset is it not ..

I'd rather see him than Harper he scores great goals aswell .

Chizzy is a funny one. Arguably looked better in L1. I've said it before, but I think he dominates play too much when he starts. He drifts deep and holds the ball too much for me. That said, without a natural AM in Garritys absence, I'd start Richards behind the strikers and have him on the bench.

Walters, Croasdale and Richards. Byers is clearly very talented, but Walters has been the better player.

I woke at 1.15am 3.15am, then 4.10am and again at 5.00am. It's really getting to me as well. 😂👍

Chislett has a hamstring injury according to DM.

Be 0-0 this.

With a Bradford and Walsall win to set up the final day. 🫣

  • Since the start of 2013, Port Vale have won just one of their last 18 away league games in London (D8 L9), with each of their two in 2024 finishing 0-0.

Charlton last season would be the win.
