I hate the build up to this game, feel nervous and edgy. On 7.10 train just want the game to start.

Those like yourself going can bring it home 1201 away sold out end cheering like crazy throughout the game .

As someone who went Brighton Vale fans brought the atmosphere and the Vale players brought the goods 1-3 .

It's now down to those who are attending, drive the players on ,sitting quietly will help the opposition ,I'm sure there's loads of folk who would have loved to attend 1201 lucky ones hopefully be jubilant let's hope thats the case

Folk will rightly be a tad sick with worry ,apprehensive etc etc

Enjoy your day out in capital Vale fans

Think I would give the nod  to Curtis ahead of Walters replacing Harper personally. Think the occasion requires the experience of Curtis, also think we need to be more attack minded, all out to win the game. Curtis best player for the spectacular goal out of nowhere.

Come on Vale, let's get it done tomorrow then next Saturday will be a great occasion no matter what. UTV.

Meanwhile Harper is fully match fit. 🙄

Not a chance we will win tomorrow. A draw and a win at home against Gillingham should be enough.

In all my 50 years of watching the Vale,

I honestly can't remember any season like this one......

Normally, everything is decided by now

.....

THIS campaign is amazing....👍👀😳🤔

21-22 our last promotion must be up there.

Exeter lost out on the title because we beat them to ensure our play off spot.

The whole Northampton and Bristol Rovers GD scenario.

Was anything else decided on the final day?

Must win game for me is this (and yes I understand the maths etc).

I can’t help but think Walsall and going to do it, ludicrous as that sounds given just how bad they’ve been recently. On their forum, fans seem to be past the nerves, frustration and down right anger at the collapse and seem stoic maybe even upbeat. I don’t see them dropping points in the last two games, in fact it wouldn’t surprise me if they spanked Crewe 4 or 5 on the last day like they did with us.

Donny will be champions I think, so believe it comes down to us or Bradford.

Can we then beat Gills last day?? Don’t know is the answer and I’m also struggling to remember the last decent final day performance from us as we’ve served up some shockers recently.

It feels like we’ve really struggled against Ainsworth teams in the past, who tend to be Grimsby-like in terms of getting their foot in, wasting time, hounding the ref, basically everything we hate. I think their game against Swindon will be telling as to their approach. If they win, I think they will have secured their place meaning our result won’t matter and Ainsworth could feel compelled to experiment.

And the drama of the Swindon game. Plus going up by the play offs winning at Wembley is arguably more memorable than going up second or third.

Correct, <ovf censored> Bingo. it's awful how Chizzy has been left out this season. There is nothing wrong with his fitness, Manager just doesn't fancy his style of play which is a pity as he is one of the most talented and gifted footballers at the club today. Really poor poor man management by Moore

For the sake of my heart rate and nerves I’m hoping this game takes the same path (with one exception) as when we played the Dons at home.  Take an early  2-0 lead into halftime, concede one in the second half but then almost immediately reinstate the 2 goal buffer. The one exception is that we don’t concede a second and then play out the rest of the game as we did the second half at Smallsall. However, this is PVFC and I’m expecting to have no fingernails left and be making full use of the soft, lotion impregnated toilet tissue I might be carrying about my person.

It's a great way to go up but for every team that does it there are another 3 that don't and I bet that trip back from Wembley Is pretty grim if you've lost. Let's get it done in the next 2.

Got more confidence going into this one than I did against Carlisle, which was always going to be a potential banana skin. I think the way AFC Wimbledon try to play will suit us a bit more than a very physical Carlisle team. Or maybe I'm just bricking it and trying to delude myself for some comfort.
