I prefer them to hit the back of the net

Tolaj's penalties similar. One goes in , one doesnt.

If he is our penalty taker then so be it. If he scores the next one thats fine by me. Think we would all be happy that Tolaj is the one for the job.

if players get stage fright there is nothing the manager or anybody else can do

Except to find some players with cojones. I had the privilege of watching Archie Gemmel play for Forest when I lived in Nottingham. I have never seen a player with a greater will to win and it affected the whole team. He just drove them on, a pint-sized midfielder who never accepted defeat or poor performances.

I know this is L2 but the will to win is not confined to players in the top tiers.

The choice is simple, we just have to find a way to overcome our stage fright or forget about our dreams.

If Tolaj had struck it along the ground it's in even though the keeper guessed the right side, as I said it was the perfect height for the keeper to make the save.

It wasnt tolaj who was at fault for the three sloppy goals we let in

Did Garrity go off injured does anyone know? Looked like he did to me. Love him but he’s seriously turning into a crock.

He went down holding the back of his groin before he was substituted.

Hope it is unique, it's been weirdly unenjoyable considering where we are...

Just wattsapped my mate to say this is the most riveting but exhausting season ever 🙈🙈🙈😍

Doncaster vs Bradford has suddenly become even more massive 😁

They were stretching his leg - thought it might be cramp

he seemed to walk off ok

Before today we'd won 4 on the spin, two of those against teams in the top 3.

That isn't stage fright.

I'm gutted right now, sickening game that was.

But we're top because we're a good side.

Every chance we'll win Monday.

We overcame the stage fright, as you put it, in the last few games. Today was a bad day at the office, nothing more nothing less. Players aren't robots who can be programmed to perform to the best of their abilities every game. We showed the will to not give up and get back to a penalty away from gaining a point when all seemed lost. Onto Monday. Nothing more we can do but put this behind us

Was just going post the same Phil, but you have expressed it very well - we are going into bed wetting mode here - weve just come off a run where we have beaten every team around us

Thanks STID - thanks, thats put a more Hoppers like spin on the situation 🤣🤣👍👍💜💜💜

Just thinking, by abbreviating your screen name to initials, it reminds me of something I caught off Big Bertha from Kellys Place - ahhh, those were the days - 10 minutes fun followed by months of cream on me danglies 👍👍👍👍

My mum Bertha said you were no great shakes, spent 8 of the 10 minutes trying to find it 😆👍🦴

I agree the players were bad, really bad, but leadership comes from the top and I wonder what DM said to the players before the game?

We know from the playoffs with Sheff Wed that he can do it but, on Monday, he has to put some serious lead into their pencils.

They looked so intimidated today that a repeat on Monday will be a disaster.

Time to put up or shut up.

Totally agree with you
