bring it on.....💪💪💪👍👏👏👏

Going to be very tough despite their league position. They’ve won the last two (although both were against other teams in and around them at the bottom), and will be fighting for their lives. Their £10 ticket offer will also likely mean a big home attendance, and Carlisle are always good at creating a decent atmosphere.

They'll try to make the game a battle and as scrappy as possible. Luckily we're also able to do that side of the game just fine, so should be confident of winning. Don't think anyone would expect it to be a walk in the park though.

It'll be tough but I hope our extra quality shines through. Teams are struggling to live with our energy at the moment, so plenty of rest before Friday.

Just down the road for me and cannot wait for it. It’ll be a tough game. I’ll go on record and say it’ll probably be the toughest game of the remaining 4. Brunton Park will be rocking and I don’t think we have the best record there. But tbh our lads have been fantastic all season. I admit at times my faith has wavered but to have lost only 8 games from 42 in a league as competitive as this one is a phenomenal effort and just shows the hard work the staff and players have put in.

You can’t single players out as they’ve all been unreal but Tolaj is a real problem in league 2. He’s getting better and better with every game and while he’s had a great season goal wise, he’s impressed me so much with his all round game and the chances he lays on for others.

We sometimes struggle against the bottom teams when they go 5 or 7 at the back. Carlisle have to come at us from the off. They have to score otherwise they can only get 1 point which is no use to them. Its muck or nettles for them which will help the Vale. Another early goal to keep em attacking us and we can then pick them off with our passing game.

Agree completely about Tolaj, I’d already put him up in the pantheon with the all-time Vale legends, and he has plenty of potential to grow further, it’s scary how good he could be.

But this time around, and given Carol and Kevin’s wonderful backing, let’s NOT sell him, let’s keep him and help him to develop further, and let’s unearth other such gems to play around him.

The tinpot mentality of expecting us to cash in grates me as well. Yes we should if the time comes but we should absolutely be looking to kick on and build this team around him.

I’m sure given the wonderful backing we’ve had from our owners whatever the decision will be in the best interest of the team.

Bloody love the lad and he’s firmly established himself as ahead of Stockley and has bags of potential so I’m so excited what he can do for us going forward.

Went on Ticketmaster earlier and no tickets available- will we be getting any more?

Lad was saying he would like go Carlisle yesterday .

How's the ticket allocation.

Good Friday v Carlisle .

Team well I don't know after yesterday maybe start the team who finished the game yesterday, bar Tolaj  as when Byers, Curtis and Hart ,and Richards entered the action we completely went up another gear mind you the starting 11 were overall very good also .

The other day Vale had sold 895 I read so I reckon the other 555 went yesterday ..

A big game for both clubs .

Carlisle have to win !  Again I would take 4 points from the next 2 and 4 points from the last 2.

2-2

Last I heard we had sold 900.

For those saying do not discount Walsall because they have a easier set of fixtures.

I would say the opposite, any team playing Walsall. needing points, will be thinking that’s the game where they will pick up a win.
