Midfield is the glaring issue.

Defence is okay. Not convinced on the keeper. 

Our midfield are all clones. Pick it up deep. Play it square.  Safe football. 

No runners, no creativity or guile.

Unless Rico or Chislett start ( particularly at home ) it's going to be a mundane watch.

I dont want DM out in the slightest, but the league standard this season is absolutely appalling, with us making most teams look good 🙈🙈🙈🙈

Today I flicked between:

Notts County and Wimbledon - crap 

Walsall and Grimsby - crap

us and fleetwood - crap

Coventry vs Knobheads - fantastic 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I go into every game now expecting a nil all - so today was a pleasant surprise

And Tuesday - its gonna be a nil all bore draw 💤💤💤💤

I hate posting negative, but the stuff we play just makes me nod off

Thankfully its book club on Tuesday, so im in for a good night with a bunch of lovely but belligerent OAPs - in fact, not dissimilar to the Lorne Street crew 🙈🙈🙈🤣🤣🤣

We’ve got 12 games left and there’s not a hope in Hell of anyone going up automatically will less than 80 points. Realistically we need to win 8, maybe 9 of our last 12. Have you seen the run in??? Ain’t happening I’m afraid.

We just don't look like a promotion side. You may say what does one look like? Dominates teams, especially ones struggling at the bottom and score goals or at least batter the opposition. We just look like a side who are tough to beat but don't score enough goals to put teams to bed. Will Fleetwoods late goal make DM even more defensively minded ?

Port Vale are 4 points behind 3rd with 2 games in hand, all teams in the top 7 have similar run ins

Currently 4th in the form table and unbeaten in 2025.  Not too worried about the run in on that basis.  Nobody is winning consistently at the moment.
