He came on at half time for Hart

Oh yea….dont know why I was thinking that. Yep, he was far better than Hart even playing on his weaker side.

Nippy why don't you give Valiant 593 a ring and have a great night out !!

Yeah will do , no worries 👍😁

I'm happy with the result, if not the performance.  Before the game all the talk was about what a great side Fleetwood are and how we would lose 3 or 4 nil so a point seems pretty good considering.

Didn't we take a risk and they went straight up the other end and scored from it 🤔

Wouldn’t say it was a risk. Was just an attack and to be fair 9/10 that goes in.

By a risk I mean from the start. Get the likes of Chislett on, start with Curtis and tolaj. Get Clark on from the start. No more Hart, Harper, Hackford (from the start) and play on the front foot. We’ve literally thrown away 3 games against some really poor opposition. We’re far too passive and play for that 1 chance and have done all season.

Somehow with other results we’ve got out of jail yet again

But doesn't scoring goals give you more chance of winning games

That's how they scored port vale taking a risk pushing on for a winner and getting caught on break

No it wasn’t a risk.. poor communication, organisation and finishing by Vale allowed them to score.

The big concern is the performances. We're not playing very well at all and Moore's obsession with reducing 4th tier football to turgid coinflips is beginning to grate.

We can blame individual errors and luck, but when you reduce every game into a chasm of nothingness and utter tedium you then increase the chances of Lady Luck having a major say - as opposed to being proactive and getting 2-3 goals to the good before fortune can dictate things.

This 'low-margin' crap is best evidenced by the quite worrying fact we haven't won a game of football by more than one goal since the 19th October - at home to today's opposition. We've only won two games by more than a goal all season. That's not good. We're unbeaten in 2025 but have won 5 in 18.

I'm just not convinced that you can be sustainably successful with this level of reactivity and passivity. We're still in the mix, and credit has to be given to the fact that Moore has cultivated a very resilient and 'never-say-die' mentality. You also have to criticise the reductive way he treats the game of football, treating it as some form of chore to endure despite having the personnel to make things a tad more enjoyable.

We might nick 3rd. No one seems very keen to string a run of results together, Walsall are imploding, and Bradford are now without several key players. It's genuinely up for grabs.

For the first time, as I look at the table, I'll say it's a big failure if we don't finish 3rd this season, and unfortunately the primary reason for that (bar injuries) is Darren Moore's bleak approach to football. You can't draw your way to success and eventually he's going to have to put his big boy pants on and start taking some risks. I'll be pretty annoyed if we fall short playing this style of football as it's entirely avoidable.

This will be totally contradictory after getting a 96th minute equaliser but I'm sure one or two of you will get where I'm coming from.

Just seemed last promotion we had the characters to get results from our heart.

Orient at home, Hartlepool away both spring to mind.

We just seem so passive and for example the other night I was resigned to 0-0 with 15 minutes left.

I just want to see some oomph.

He's losing me now, he's Vale's own Southgate, let them off the pigging leash for goodness sake.

Boring turgid football.

The majority of us are on the same page mate 👍

Draws dunner get you promoted but wins will

I don’t think that’s entirely true but ok.

Can you imagine ...? 🙂

Depressives "Cold Pizza & Warm Beer ...

Spireite must of had about 10 grand on Vale getting promoted. Posting on here and possibly watching based on his comment?

Yet his beloved Chesterfield were playing at the same time.

Peculiar.

Let's face it according to sporting life stats we have missed 4 clear cut chances today.

Lad says we were boring as and only Clark can come off the pitch saying I did my job .

He was the only player shine .

That's really poor if so
