They are all the same player. For some reason DM thinks they are all different because he has Harper and Croasdale trying to run forward. Neither do it particularly well and certainly aren’t going to open a team up with their dribbling ability, forward runs or a pass.

I’m still flabbergasted he thought they are his best 3 combined after watching the <ovf censored> show at Tranmere.

Once heard Danny Baker on R5 Live say that all refs are either bent or incompetent. Thought it was very harsh at the time but the performances are so increasingly poor these days that it makes you wonder. Summat’s up because you don’t get these problems in other sports, especially rugby.

The second one was outside the box fir starters.

At game I'm not sure either was a penalty  Richards was outside the box and it was a shot that hit hand as he was in a standing position would have been harsh thst .

We ain't a top 3 team on what ive seen tonight the away game we had quality movement and good play throughout v Harrogate today our movement was poor and Harrogate could have won it as they got there tactics spot on 

Imagine going up and playing that lacklustre in a league above we be 5 down at full time .

Tonight proves to me we ain't ready to go up .

Tolajs movement was the only good thing come out of the game .

There's a lot of disgruntled support and there will be what did we produce in that 90 ,not enough thats for sure 

I was late about 7 mins into game when come in I saw 2 Harper efforts saved by goalkeeper, Curtis fire over first half also Tolaj have shot save after turning and going for the  heart of there defence  ,second half jerry fire wide he did ok for me he certainly will get better if playing alongside Tolaj who's work both on and off ball was excellent ..

A penalty shout and Clark blasting over but other than that I ain't seen enough desire to score for PVFC tonight .

Defence well apart from there player somehow not testing goalkeeper when in a great position they haven't threatened us at all 

Overall 0-0 about right I'd have loved it if J Omilio smart bit of footwork and quick shot wide had  gone in I'll be encouraging him to net soon enough and I think he will

Garrity is a massive loss

I don't like criticising, it can be an easy way to find fault, so I hate to say this, but I find Darren Moores  style of football tedious and a tad boring, Ok we are 6th and going for promotion but I just don't feel we are a promotion chasing side, tonight a neutral would have struggled to work out who is the supposed side on the up, considering the difference in budgets Harrogate weren't that far behind us, after 20 minutes the crowd sensed how the game was going to pan out and they weren't wrong.

Absolutely dire. The last two games have been interminable. I'm not sure if we'll go up, but I don't know how long I can endure this level of risk-averse, passive football. I'm bored stiff. 

Our record against the bottom sides is genuinely awful, especially considering the budget disparity. Moore doesn't know how to break a team down. Again, he's great at sitting off decent teams but either can't coach a press or has no interest in doing so.

Byers is becoming one of the biggest disappointments of recent years. Arrives with reports he'll be a transcendent League 2 talent - he's yet to stand out and, at best, sort of floats around doing very little right or wrong. I'm sure fitness doesn't help but I expected so much more than what is, at present, a slightly lazier Luke Joyce. 

The whole point of Darren Moore is you sort of put up with the dirge in order to win promotion. The ends justify the means. It's going to be a difficult sell if we do fall short having been bored to tears without ever really controlling a game of football.

Has there been an official timeline given for Garrity’s return? I’ve heard 2-8 weeks, and it’s now in the middle of those. He’s the 1 player that links everything together and nobody can replace him. In the summer our no.1 priority needs to be getting in a real box to box midfielder who is in the same mould for cover and competition.

Hall was the only player passing and moving forward to receive the ball back higher up the pitch. Hall. That can’t be tactically right can it?

How many Tuesday night league home games is it we haven’t won? Does anyone know. Awful record isn’t it. And very surprising. 

Why couldn’t we start 1 dm and play 3 right up pressing them? It makes no sense having Byers 2 yards away from Smith to then square the ball a further 2 yards to Croasdale. 

Good start by Vale , and Harper could have had a brace. Then he did nothing else.  He sauntered around  completely lost  or just lazy.  It was a penalty for the hand ball . Why he didn’t give it is beyond me. With a lethargic Vale in the 2nd half , and that’s putting it mildly , Harrogate grew in confidence and could have won it. They are easily the worst team I’ve seen at Vale Park all season , and that second half was non league standard from both sides. We have 2 games in hand , but we still have to win them , and I’m not too confident going to Fleetwood on Saturday, where we may suffer defeat for the first time this year. Overall we should be out of sight by now . League 2 is very poor this season , and we should be beating Carlisle , Tranmere and certainly Harrogate at home. Moore has us in the mix , but I think it’s despite him rather than because of him . He’s a very cagey , defensive manager , even with two up front, so it’s understandable  that Vale fans get so frustrated. Personally I can’t stand his interviews, and his one tonight kept mentioning the group , the game , over and over.  What about “I’m not happy with that , and I’ve just told them in there” .  It’s very frustrating to be a Vale fan now. On to Fleetwood.

According to Radio Stoke, we haven’t won at home on a Tuesday night for 3 years…!
