I have to agree. He did well when he come on. That turn he did on the halfway line was brilliant & his one touch & hit was very close. Just whistled past the post, was unlucky not to score. Hopefully that’s given him some confidence now. I don’t like slating players, just say it how I see it so pleased for him last night

Strewth, this is so frustrating.

Clearly we have a good side overall and we are mostly solid in defense but scoring goals?

We have to find a way to score and I wonder if Moore is capable of doing that? He needs some tactical support it seems to me. Perhaps some former Vale Luminaries can be brought in to assist?

Vale will start an inexorable slide down the Division if we don't find a way to win games ASAP.

Yep very disappointing ! I thought we did ok but we are so lethargic at times we just do not apply enough consistent pressure at home. A tough couple of away games now if we can get something from them it will be good, however we need to be much better. STOP FAFFING ABOUT AT THE BACK!

Hall carried the ball and tried to get us up the pitch more times than byers did last night. He had no idea what to do with it when he got up there but at least he tried. Byers was too deep.

Byers is playing injured by looks of it if so surely Chislett is a better option .

Got spend the rest of this week getting him going show him all his goals he as scored for us tell him he is top class which he is  because he is and get him on the pitch .

 

Wondered why Hall was the main ball man it was at his feet 65 mins out the 75 played of match the other 25 well it was either there players lying on ground or slow moving footballers taking too long do anything with ball and no one having the balls drive past players .

It was odd. When hall made the runs Byers then filled in at cb, same if Clark pushed up or John. He must have been told to do this, surely Byers Dosent usually want to play that deep. 

I wanted Chizzy to start. I’ve stated all season that Curtis, Tolaj and Chislett are better than this level and should be starting every game. 

Harper in my view offers nothing, Chiz in for him, playing behind Curtis and Tolaj, with Byers and Croasdale behind. You then have Rico who is a good impact player and potentially Hackford with his pace off the bench. 

It’s only through injury that Moore has given Tolaj and Curtis a decent run so I doubt Chislett will get that chance. If Moore is here in the summer I doubt Chislett will be, and I guarantee he will sign for a lower league 1 side and really impress. 

Moore says he’s knows he’s got people in the building who can put the ball in the net- would suggest he gets those people out of the building and onto the pitch 😀

Chiz proved last season he’s better than this level. There’s no doubting his ability. But when he has been on the pitch he hasn’t done much himself this season either. I get that he’s been playing in a system that probably doesn’t suit him or he’s not been given a consistent run of games. But he has to do more when he gets on, the same as Paton & Curtis had to & rarely achieved earlier in the season. Tinkering around so much has left so many of this squad disjointed & disinterested by the looks of it. It’s no coincidence the likes of Chiz, Paton, Curtis, Rico, Tolaj & even the keepers have struggled at times due to so much rotation. Darren just pick a settled side & play our most dangerous players 🤦‍♂️

Exactly this. Look at Tolaj and Curtis now, they’re brilliant. Chis will be the same if given a run in the side.

Agree mate. Trying to keep everyone happy isn’t & wont work unfortunately. These aren’t premier league players we’re talking about 

Shocking displays from a few players last night.

We miss Garrity a lot and it's starting to show, half of these have no urgency to want to win the game.

We need to sort the midfield 3 out, they all look lost, Harper spends more time running away from the ball than on it.

Chislett was needed last night from half an hour in, the gap between the 3 in midfield and the 2 up top was just too big, you could see it a mile off.
