He’s a striker he should be hitting the target from there.

Very harsh.. just instinctive to get something on it.

I thought he did OK last night to be fair to him.

DM fecked it up by waiting so long to bring him and Rico on. The subs were needed after 50 mins when it was clear the energy had gone from the team and we needed something different.

That’s my take on it. I was pleased from what I saw from Big Jerry last night, hope he continues to get better

When having decided to make subs  Why did it take an age to get them on in the second half last night?

I have never seen such indecision.

Talk about changing his mind. They were up and out then back on the bench more times than a cuckoo clock before a final decision was made as to who was coming on. !!

I believe it’s because they made a sub just before we were going to so I can only assume it’s because DM was a bit concerned with what they were getting upto

Nowhere near the ball. It was on the other side of Richards.

Got the ball son and outside the box.

You are exhibiting prejudice rather than judgement.

Outside the box yes, but a crystal clear foul.

@rob1983

It doesn't become truer if you keep repeating it.

Please try informing yourself.

Have a look at the highlights after 9 minutes.

Play the sequence through at 0.25 speed -

Bilongo didn't even come close to touching the ball, he went straight through Rico's legs.

Should have been a Vale free kick on the edge of the 12-yard box and Bilongo on a straight red for denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity.

100% penalty. He basically caught it.

I couldn't really see it from the angle i was at in the paddock but when virtually every vale player turns and appeals straight away to the ref it usually means there is something in it imo

Yeah I’d very concerned with subs of the opposition who came for a draw and have one of the worst away records in the league.

What are they possibly going to change to prevent us from making an attacking substitution?

Said it in the summer a <ovf censored> signing.

Disgusting. Pretty sure many other managers would have this squad cruising towards promotion.

We will never know that

Bradford have always had expensively assembled sides yet it has taken Alexander(who I think is a very good manager) a couple of seasons I think and previous managers failing totally

I know the squad is good enough for promotion but we have changed about 3 quarters of the squad and must have signed over 20 players either in the summer or including January window so had a big turnover and it's hard get a team to gel and be challenging for promotion within one season with so many changes being done with the squad. If we don't go up this season people will think it's a failure because of the players we have but it will be more down to trying change so much so quickly. I doubt we will be anywhere near as busy in the transfer window over the summer as we will pretty much have what we want already at the club.

Watching the highlights how on earth is that not handball?

The was even worse than I thought last night.

The tackle on Rico looked outside the box but again how is that not a foul?

Very poor from the officials again.

He wasn't central to goal, he was next to the right hand post

Watch the replay, he was within two feet of the penalty circle.

The handball was as clear as you’ll see all season for me. The rico incident was outside the box but the refs said no foul as there was seconds left. If that had been after ten mins he 100% blows for a foul I’m certain. I think he didn’t want to get it right or wrong either way at that stage of the game so just waved play on.

We have to go more attacking and try and score goals to gain promotion. We aren’t getting promoted winning by a one goal margin every week, as when teams like Tranmere and Harrogate stop us we aren’t winning games. Two massive games coming up against two decent sides. We can’t afford to lose both of them. That’s why these last two games have been a big let down.

let’s hope Moore can make us a bit more exciting in the run in and try and create a bit more.

Negative post warning.

I’m sick to death of watching this now. It’s getting worse and worse. More and more turgid. The manager does not have a <ovf censored> clue. Why didn’t we change it tonight? It wasn’t working, we leave Hackford who has scored goals on the bench and Chizzy a league 1 player sat there. Why was Byers playing Cb? What was the point in the Hart sub? Shorrock was poor but it’s generous to call Hart a footballer. Why is Harper in this side? What does he do? 2nd half he trots around the pitch doing nothing (I thought it was a penalty by him if not for the offside)

We have one of the strongest sides in this division. These have a tiny budget, are 20th and the 4th worst away record in the league. Yet we’re the better side in the 2nd half

It’s just the same old. That’s now Harrogate, Carlisle, Accrington, Barrow, Gillingham and Morecambe were we have been absolute <ovf censored>

My opinion hasn’t changed on the manager. I think he’s holding us back and I quite frankly am bored to death of watching it. what was the tactic 2nd half? Why was Byers playing as a 4th cb against Harrogate at gome

I’ll get criticised on here so my tin hat is on. But I’m still 100% Moore out. He is holding us back. The football is beyond turgid. When we win, we’ve been holding on or letting the opposition miss sitters like against Notts county and sneaking a lucky goal or a screamer from Shorrock v Crewe or Curtis v Cheltenham.

I genuinely don’t think he knows what he’s doing in the attacking part of the game.
Tolaj - sat on the bench for large parts of the season, or played out of position. Because of injuries finally gets a go in his position. And look. A quality player.
Curtis - as above, get a game here or there, 5 minutes here or there. Injuries, gets some game time and look. A quality player.
Same with Chizzy. He’s a league 1 player that now can’t even get minutes against Harrogate at home.
Paton - yeah not great, but I’m not having it that signing a player for decent money, giving him 5 mins here or there out of position, then loaning him out for some donkey on loan is the way to go.

I don’t rate us. Under Moore we might get top 7 but I’d rather we didn’t to force a change.  I’d love us to make a change, get an exciting manager in and let this team thrive but unfortunately I think we’re stuck with this.

Moore out. Not going again until he’s gone. So see everyone in a few years time whilst we’re probably languishing around 8th in league 2.

Not digging at you mate at all because i think you do put some decent posts on here, although i dont agree with some and believe me i am as frustrated as anyone with the style of football we play and would of loved to have a Schumacher,Lowe or Alexander in charge but we haven't,so for anyone no matter who it is to say Moore out is silly as it stands(only my opinion) because do people really think Carol will sack a manager who has us in 6th(4 points of 3rd with 2 games in hand, for what it's worth I dont think we will win them) 10 games unbeaten and up for a 3rd manager of the month in a season,it WILL NOT happen.

IF we dont get promoted then who knows what will happen,Carol will not be happy that's for sure..... so no matter what he and the team have my backing until the season ends but as i said at the start i would love attacking WINNING football(no good if you lose games no matter how exciting) but i also know that's not DM's style so that's just how it is for now, lets all just remember there are plenty of <ovf censored> managers out of work out there.

I wonder if tonight will be seen as over reacting bed wetting?

I really dont mind people expressing their anger etc after a game,I just find it odd sometimes when it's at the start of a game, there have been plenty of over reactions during games this season which at the end have proven to be a tad silly imo
