Even simpler solution.

You start a game at 0  0  No points.

So no goals = no points.

Why win a point in you dont attack and score a goal. Thats entertainment.....

Seen some fantastic game's of football ending 0-0. Everyone likes to see goals and I love to see great defending.

No problem to have a different opinion guys but IMHO we've had much worse than him reffing Vale games this season, doesn't say a lot I know.

I thought he was poor, the amount of time he didn’t allow quick free kicks, forcing kicks to be taken again because it was 5 yards out, 2 big decisions in the game and I got both massively wrong, I can’t remember any other major decisions in the game or anything he did particularly well. It wasn’t a difficult game to ref but he failed and cost vale 2 points. I also thought the Lorne street linesman made some bad calls.

If we don’t get promoted DM has to go.

2x seasons on the run he would have failed. Thats not incremental gains.

I’m not calling for him to be sacked because it’s not practical but he is boring me to death and making me angry at games with his subs. It such a chore to watch us home and away.

I won’t if he’s still here next season in L2.

Correct- he should go but I don’t think he will. Imagine looking forward to another season in division 2 with Moore football! Plus there is a very good chance he won’t get as bank rolled next season.

What’s unrealistic in your view is -

1. 24 teams set out to win promotion each season, but only 4 succeed.

That doesn’t mean that the other 20 teams are all entirely useless or worthless, or that the managers of those teams should automatically be sacked.

2. Signing potentially better players doesn’t guarantee success, if you are unlucky enough to have many of those  players out injured for long periods, as we have.

3. Change isn’t automatically for the better - I haven’t been given the instant gratification which I demand, so let’s break everything and start again, because that’s guaranteed to be successful, isn’t it…?

This has the potential to be an excellent season.

Let’s get behind the management and the team and make it so.

24 teams don’t see out to win promotion?  Each team has a different objective for the manager to be judged on.

Points 2/ & 3/ are irrelevant . A has to be judged on a manager on outcomes.

No promotion this season he has to go.

I think it depends if he feels the support of fans.

OK, let's hypothesise - you've got your wish, you're hereby appointed the fantasy new DOF at Port Vale.

It's the end of the 2024-25 season and Vale narrowly missed out on promotion.

Exactly what coherent and costed plan do you present to Carol as the way forward for the pre-season and 2025-26 season.

Please note the requirement to be >>coherent and costed<<.

The customary sweeping vagueness doesn't begin to suffice, let's hear your practical real-world plan, complete with potential names and costs for replacement of the full first-team management personnel.

I know we live in the fish eye lens that is ovf, but does anyone hear many anti-moore comments around where they sit (I mean at the ground, not sat on the their sofa 😁👍)

Good question, Hoppers.

That assessment immediately strips out the Stokie interlopers on OVF who constantly slag Darren Moore here in order to try to harm Vale.

To be fair.mate , you're not on you're own I've been angry with Darren's tactics since the inspired decision to play no striker in the top of the table clash against smallsall that made my piss boil , tbh 🙈 but like you said if he dunner get us promoted he.defo needs to go but will the owners feel the same way that's the six million dollar question , anyway UTV

Yeah my mate who sits next to me always has ear defenders on and the same goes for the guy who sits the other side of me I do tend to voice my opinion quite a lot 👍

You can’t even spell your surname correctly.

Maybe because we get behind our team and Manager and support them when they are playing. Don’t think anyone wants us to fail, but doesn’t mean we agree with his tactics and the man in charge.
