He’s a striker he should be hitting the target from there.

A tad harsh for me that mate. Unlucky more than a poor effort I thought.

Performance wise we seem to have dropped off the last couple of games which is my worry. It’s ok averaging 2 points per game through the last 10 played but can we average the same in the next 10. That will be the difference between automatics & playoffs. Back to back away games coming up. How Vale would it be to pick up 4-6 points. I’d take 3 now from the two games

we need 4 points from the next two away games to stick with the 2 points a game plan

Very frustrating isn't it mate.

Looks to me that only one automatic spot is still up for grabs, but we need to realise that draws do nothing to get us up the table. Win one lose one is better than being undefeated!

It's beyond frustrating mon ami mate... but as you correctly identify, it doesn't get us enough poinst, we need to win some to be sure of automatic promotion.

If strikers hit the target every time, they wouldn’t be playing in League 2

Nothing unlucky about it, good first touch and very poor shot, should be scoring.

How do you work that out?

When having decided to make subs  Why did it take an age to get them on in the second half last night?

I have never seen such indecision.

Talk about changing his mind. They were up and out then back on the bench more times than a cuckoo clock before a final decision was made as to who was coming on. !!

Far too late and then the wrong subs when they did come on. Changing to a 4-4-2 was stupid, game over once Moore had made his tactical changes, more likely that Harrogate would get the winner than us.

Unfortunately we pay for two halves and we expect a half time managers talk to inspire rather than sedate the team.

That's a big issue. Just going on the last 2 games, Tranmere, surely a half time rocket and we come out all guns blazing, instead it's a snoozefest.

Last night whilst not that bad, right boys let's get at them 2nd half and go for the jugular. 15 seconds after kick off they go through us like a knife through butter and Amos pushes a shot out for a corner.

Did Belshaw actually make a save of any note 2nd half ?

Impotent and uninspiring football.

Inches away from doing so. If he ballooned it over or scuffed it miles wide I’d agree. All opinions of course but I do think he was a lot better than any previous cameos he’s had

He missed from 8 yards when fairly central to goal, it was poor, I’d have been disappointed with myself had i missed that chance and I packed in football 10 years ago.

But he didn’t have any time to think about it. From taking it down & controlling it he had a split second to get his shot off whilst being surrounded by players. Each to their own I suppose

I posted this after the Tranmere game:

I can just copy and paste for every game to be honest.

I don't think Carol is getting a return on her huge investment. If I'd spent £500k on transfers with a massive wage bill on top, I'd expect more than this.

Exactly how I feel. Other teams seem to have a manager who can get the best out of limited resources, for example Woodman at Bromley.

We have Darren Moore, I’ll leave it at that.

Couldn't agree more with the worrying drop off in form and that's what nags away when you see statistics like that. Dead right it would be just like Vale take 6pts next two games....😂....yeah, as if! Here's hoping....

He wasn't central to goal, he was next to the right hand post

Now the dust has settled, it is what it is. Disappointing result and also disappointing to not score. But we deserved to win the game and on another day we would win comfortably. Sometimes you just also have to credit the opposition. They came with a gameplan, defended resolutely, and it got them a hard earned point which they'll be over the moon with. I don't think there's a massive difference in League Two between the top teams and those near the bottom, quality wise. You're usually talking about just one or two players that make the difference.
