Port Vale v Notts County match thread - 13th Feb

Featured Replies

If we’ve sold over 7000 in the home ends, Notts will bring over 1000  plus walk ups we could get 10,000.

Are you suggesting the average temperatures are the same?  Last time I was in Edinburgh I froze my nuts off and was glad when I got off the train back in Kidsgrove where it was warm enough to stick them back on again.

Currently 3 deg in Edinburgh and 3 deg in Kidsgrove!!

Thursday afternoon lectures always got binned off in favour of the pub. Daft time to have them.

That said, I might have thought twice if I was paying the tuition fees myself.

The issue with it being a night match is the number of ST holders especially kids, that don't turn up. That's not a dig, it's up to the individual. No one else's business why people can't attend and no one needs to justify themselves.

Regardless of whether ST holders turn up or not though, surely we have plenty of people wanting to get to Vale, for free, to watch it live in the ground. We all have a part to play in getting promotion, if that means getting as many Vale fans in the ground by making use of your free ticket, do whatever you can to get it shifted.

2nd to last game of the regs down at Wimbledon, could be interesting

I'll show my backside in Woolworth's shop window if we get a five figure gate against Nottingham County on Thursday night !! [emoji23][emoji460][emoji23][emoji460][emoji23] UTV.

Just seen the ridiculous Crewe red card. The ref was the Chesterfield v Vale clown !

Wonder if they will appeal it?

Every game I've watched since our glut of reds I've seen similar or worse tackles than ours.  Not 1 red, some yellows, often not even a foul given.  Much worse tackles only given yellow. So galling

After 38 seconds.

Clear penalty but harsh red card.

Yes, a red card within the letter of the law, but 9 out of 10 refs would have deemed the penalty and a yellow card sufficient punishment.

Davo doesn't get away that lightly.

We'll organise a collection for the plane fare. 🙂

Think you’ll be safe & more importantly those poor Wooly shoppers 🤣 I would hazard a guess of around 8,100 tomorrow evening

Sounds like Mitch could be back in just a couple of weeks. That’s excellent news 🤩 Stockley trained today as well, so expect him to at least make the bench against Notts. UTV
