It's clearly from what Moore said in thd statement when he signed, and from his Radio Stoke interview that he's a development player, doubt very much he'll be around the first team.

We've probably taken him on loan to see if he's any good with a view to signing him next season?

Been with Wolves since he was 8, first season as a Pro, first time on loan. Moore does not know how he will settle at a different club, but will be training with the squad for his personal development. If he impresses he will be given game time as the season winds up. Different when players have been on loan before.

Christ they're sad. Not even fans of the clubs involved bother to watch this competition, never mind their rivals. Absolute state of it.

Christ,  there some sick, sad bar stewards around

Pretty low that, rivalry is one thing but wishing the end of a blokes career is pretty disgraceful.

No surprise. A venomous fan base towards their own players never mind Vale.

Curtis a positive for me last night, thought he ran for everything and did himself justice. Richards also. Everything else was a bit sh!t.

If the manager puts Smith right side of a 3 we are doomed. If you play him he has to be in the centre.
Mitch out.
Sang suspended as they’ve made the crazy decision of not appealing it.
To be fair mate I’d bring in Brandon Cover.
Oh. Hang on. We sent him packing.
And this is what I moaned about and got ridiculed for.

Just pray that Stockley and Tolaj last the pace from now until May.

I suspect Leicester didn't want Cover to stay as 4th or 5th choice wingback. John and Clark are both better. Arguably so is Sang. He only joined because of Clark's injury and after doing quite well for us Leicester would want more guaranteed game time.

I wonder if we have a recall clause for Planty?

If so I would bring him back now in light of Mitch's injury.

There no reason we wouldn't have a recall clause. If he was at a league club we couldn't have one. It's not really necessary unless John gets injured during the next 4 games. Sam Hart can also play on the right, he played there when we had him on loan 7 or 8 years ago. For his development Plant is better off getting as much regular game time where he is. I think he's 20 now,  so really needs more than a couple of games on the bench. I think with all loans you can't recall during the first month. By that time Sang can play anyway.

Pity the lad doesn't.

It's still there

Why risk one of you're best players in this match.

giving him match time while suspended keeping up his match fitness. It was a non contact injury and to be fair it could have happened on his next appearance with Mitch's injury record.

The only positive I can draw from Mitch's injury is that if it was an ACL, he ain't walking off the pitch. Sometimes a twisted knee can be very painful and swollen immediately and then settle down. It could be 2 or 3 weeks out rather than the rest of the season.

Not for me mate. Young lad a long way from 1st team which I think the staff agree with considering the level of his loan.

Peterborough Sports are the surprise package in the National League North and in with a shout at the playoffs. Quite a few professional sides at that level and clubs that have historically played at our level. They are only 20 places below Yeovil in the pyramid, so a little lower but nowhere near Stafford Rangers. He's playing regularly,  got another assist last night and been selected in that leagues team of the week at least once (although I suspect that is more of a lottery). Its a fantastic loan for him as most clubs in that league of a smattering of player with 200 plus appearances between league 2 and Championship level. He also gets to train with our coaching staff for part of the week as they are part-time. Personally I hope neither he or Plant come back because I think they need regular competitive football. If we do pick up a couple more injuries both will come back in better players.

For context Peterborough are allegedly have the lowest budget in their league but include;

Luke Steele over 300 appearances mostly Championship level (admittedly normally reserve keeper now he's manager)

Matt Tootle about 300 EFL appearances

Some of the bigger teams can put out a full 11 who have played at our level and above. Compared to sitting around do nothing most Saturdays or playing meaningless reserves fixtures this is a fantastic loan the club have got for him. He's getting competitive football against a lot of experienced players. I was a bit sceptical when he went there but I had a quick look at the league and there are a lot of very solid players and he's playing for a management team that must be doing something right when you look at their league position compared to budget. He's doing well at a level above Ben Garrity's from 6 seasons ago.
