I’ve heard Chiz is refusing to play for Moore again 🤷‍♂️ I love a rumour before anyone jumps on me about conspiracy theories 🤣

Seems a common theme.

I think if that was true he would be took to court for breach of contract and end up without a roof over his head

Why did he play Clark? Have we contested Sangs red card and won?

He played Clarke to keep him match fit because he’s banned for the next two games. No one can legislate for him being made of glass.
The EFL won’t overturn Sangs red so he’s looking at a 4 match ban.

Tonight just backs up what I was worried about when posting on the transfer thread last night and why I felt we are worse off after the window shut.  If we have injuries in certain areas, we are going to struggle.  The right side is down to the bear bones 24 hours after the window shuts, no Sang for 4 games, Clark with what looks like an awful injury, as much as a great player Clark is, don't think we could have relied on him staying fit given his injury record.  We now have to go into the next 4 matches with John has the only RWB, Smith is going have to play as the right sided centre back, again the position I don't like to see him play but the only options available.  If we have to rely on the likes of Hart, Debrah, Lowe, Hackford for many games, I think we are going to struggle and if the injury to Rico is lengthy, this will limit the options to come off the bench, we do lack players who can change the game, someone who will run at defenders and something different to what we have.

Well Clark, Sang and Richards are out of the equation. The bench will be weakened terribly.

The manager will need to find a way of winning  even without a few key players that's what separates the good managers from the bang average ones mate

It’s such a shame about Mitch. He was absolutely flying pre-suspension, and when he's fully fit, he’s arguably the best full-back in the league. For his sake, more than anything, I really hope it’s just a precaution bringing him off, but the way he went down didn’t look great.

There all making sense so far though Phil. Anyone with a brain knew Ripley wasn’t playing for Vale again. The Paton scenario was nonsense. As I say it’s only what I’ve been told. Be interesting if he’s excluded from the Matchday squad again on Saturday. South Africa for family reasons 😭

Because the Manager can’t win. He’s criticised no matter what he does. If he wins it’s the players, if he loses it’s him.
I think he’s done the right thing and rested every one up for two important league games. I don’t give a tinker’s cuss if we lose this game 6-1 as it’s utterly meaningless.

Its another rotation masterclass.....even Stevie Wonder can see it's the manager.....beware the Ides of March

Maybe he should try not playing gash then

I don’t disagree he’s been poor when he has played compared to the Chiz we know.

Which is fine if you use him correctly in the right situations i.e. when we are under the cosh. Accrington away for example he changed the game, all we needed was a head on a stick.

Agree. Also v Wimbledon, when I thought he was arguably MOTM, even though he was only on for the last 20 or so minutes.

I can accept bad performances. And I don’t care what competition it is in. But these are professional footballers not running!!

Ben Garrity is a prime example.
He runs through brick walls and leads.
Croasdale another.
Give me a team full of lads like these.

Jason Lowe. Billy big balls. Strolling around the pitch because he’s coming to the end of his career and can’t be bothered.
Walters. Billy big balls. Strolling around the pitch at the start of his career because he thinks he’s better than he is.

Thats where the game was lost tonight.
Possibly as a midfield two, one of the worst, most can’t be bothered performances I’ve seen.

Lowe will be gone soon. Thank Christ.
As for Walters…. 3 more years of that? Run son. Have some pride in yourself and your talent. Or carry on wasting it. It’s a huge summer for him. He needs to go away and get his head on because he’s nowhere near a league start ahead of Garrity, Croasdale, Byers and Harper.

We all thought at the start of the season we had strength in depth. We haven’t. We have too many players robbing a living, young and old.

Ive been Smiths biggest critic. He isn’t the most talented. At least the lad is running through brick walls.
Debrah…. Just leave in the summer. He does nothing other than clap the fans when taking a throw in!
Hart. The lads not even national league standard.
We’ve got another few months of Hackford but if we have to rely on him and he does nothing then Moore will be through the door on the summer.

So many of those tonight, when the chips were down, couldn’t be bothered.
That’s a sad indictment on the club as a whole.
You sign a contract for this club and play your hearts out. Whether it be against Man City or Hashtag Utd.

I would like to think, now we are out of this, there is a meeting internally to see who is ready for the promotion push.
Darren Moores legacy as a manager lasts the next 12 weeks or so. He needs to be looking around and seeing who wants it and who is up for it because on that showing at least 7 of them I would bomb, not just from matchday squads but from trying with the seniors altogether.

Excellent summation

Yep, I have pointed this out, you can add a number other players to the list of questionable reasons as to why they’ve not been picked or moved on. Don’t think the club has been honest a lot of the time.

I agree . The truth is bitter .

Jack Shorrock is a talented young player.
Your knowledge of football is questionable.
He may be but just the same as Plant if you are going to play them in defence make sure they can defend and block crosses. That is do their main job first or you'll ruin their career before they've started.

Sadly for him and for Vale, Clark is our version of Chelsea player Reece James.

An outstanding player in the 10 or so games a season he plays.

He's had shocking luck. A real shame.

I wouldn’t even say ten games. Poor when he was involved last season and barely got going for this one. They’ve been an absolute write off for him.
