The main thing is have the players still got confidence in MA to look after thier interests? If so most will stay and hope he can take them up a level. Artell may be looking for his final contract, so has a different view, and other players are more important to us.

But if you take the Vale-tinted glasses off he has got a better move. If Northampton get him on a two-year deal then he has the security of another year's contract with a club not in admin. It IS a better move for him, sadly.

its not all about better deals and money rob, lets say he was injured in pre season we would hAVE NOT GOT RID OF HIM LOOK AT HALDANE. this is all about himself greed wheres loyalty to a cause

Can honestly say I'm not really bothered he's left at all. We did have too many centre backs and from what I have seen of him, he is no better. I think McDonald will have a decent season this year with no court case hanging over his head, McCombe is a solid player, Davis has shown plenty of promise and Owen, although not as reliable recently, is great as a fourth choice option. And Duffy could also play there if required. Would rather Micky use his wages to sign Dickinson.

Dont know if on thread but it was announced at kick off all players playing today have signed contracts.
