Unlike Smith to get a knock. Hopefully that’s nothing too bad.

Found the entire Salford set up incredibly depressing.

Really poor stadium with no character and dreadful facilities - proper non-league standard. The owners have been there for a while and at this level for a few years. No excuse to be making away fans queue for 20 minutes for a pie and another 20 for the toilet.

Also, a really awful performance from their team. I'm not sure where their money is going because it isn't on the stadium and seemingly not on the pitch.

Didn't know some games had AI commentary, is this a league two thing? All the ones I've had on sky so far in the championship and league one have had humans doing it.

That’s what they want you think 🤔

Of the new signings, thought Croasdale and Heneghan were great.

Not sure if it’s already been said but when the players were being clapped off he had an ice pack on the back of his right hamstring, and had a bit of a limp. I think he did it to himself when landing after jumping up for a sliced clearance so hopefully maybe just a little impact injury that’ll be fine by next Saturday.

Fingers crossed. I thought he had a great game.

They wanted to move into the Salford Rugby League stay which is pretty good but had to abandon plans of because they’ve struggled to grow the crowd so it doesn’t work financially or from an atmosphere for players.

NLN  facilities with NL size crowd and top end L2 budget.

Very happy with that game and result! Several players could have been MotM, but Ben probably just edged it with adding goals to industry? Delighted for Sang and Hart - both had solid to v. good games in what have been called "problem positions". Hall, Debrah and Heneghan were dependable - how often have we been able to say that, recently? The rest had good games too...Ruari drifted off a little and I expected him to be subbed. Tolaj did some good work, but gave the ball away a little too often, although many of these could have been good passes if not quite so rushed...bags of potential for these two, though!

Once we had the lead, I never felt the game was in doubt - but well done Rippers for a couple of decent saves! With the players we still have to come in to the team the future's bright, the future's dayglo! Good cameo from BBB by the way - he could become a crowd pleaser??

Tom Sang superb

Blocking shots great stuff Vale

Curtis 2 assists

Ben Garrity tremendous

That was good and I think there's a lot more to come .

I think Heneghan would argue that the first assist is his, if not the goalkeeper's.

Can't access P&G on Radio Stoke from overseas, has someone forgotten to flick the switch?

Paul, you missed nothing, unrecognisable from the last two seasons. They put a warning out before it started, warning people that it contained high levels of positivity that may affect some people.

What I liked about the midfield today was that there was always someone after Garrity if we didn't win the first ball - Croasdale broke down play very well, getting a foot in, and Sang put in a great shift. Liked the look of Curtis too, putting himself about.  Just a subtle shift in reducing the number of times opposition teams win the ball in midfield to get at us makes such a difference.  Today, we asked more questions of them than they did of us, because we were up for it.  That said, Salford didn't offer much.  Very happy with that start, given the number of players still to get off the physio bench.

You hit the nail on the head

Slightly scrappy but the team will gel together after a few games. Sang haters???? Where are you as he was good today. I’m super happy with the win. Well deserved. Tolaj looks like a weapon as does Paton. Can’t wait for Byers to start
