    Can't ask for more than that on the first day of the season, workmanlike performance and not pretty by Vale but thoroughly deserved the win.

    One thing from today is what will we be like come November, when this pre seasons fitness will properly kick in?!! 
     

    Won comfortable today without a few starters.

    Strength in depth is ridiculous at this level.

    good solid opening day and three points . notable standouts were Super Ben and Croasdale - hes Pett v2.1 really impressed and very solid . back line didnt have too much to worry about either. all in all excellent . onto the next one :)
