Not really after the injury he had. And there is most likely an extension clause in there if required, like Blackpool did with Garrity, and Shot with Tolaj.

BBB is supposedly primarily a LW and has played there 11 times, RW 12 times (hence supposedly primarily LW. He's left footed) and LM/CAM once each.

BBB's looked dangerous so far, if Edwards is as fast and direct then all the clodhoppers of L2's back lines are going to be playing through tears.

We could have an absolutely brutal bench this season. Imagine being a wingback against one of them getting run ragged for 70 minutes, only for a fresh pair of legs to come on and do the same.

I don't think you can take that as absolute evidence of a clause. It could be simply saying he's got a 1 year deal but if he does we'll offer him another deal. A one year deal without an extension clause does literally mean that he'll be here until at least the summer of 2025 (unless sold/released earlier)

The maths of it all is making my head hurt.

ST - Stockley, Paton, Tolaj, Dipepa

W/AM - Curtis, Benicio, Edwards, Garrity, Chislett

CM - Byers, Croasdale, Ojo, Lowe

WB/FB - Sang, Hart, Plant, Shorrock, Grant

CB - Hall, Heneghan, Smith, Debrah, Jones

I'm treating Plant and Shorrock as wingback cover as opposed to playing in the wide attacking roles.

Those 9 players competing for what can be, at most, 4 attacking spots is standing out as unsustainable. There's no way you can keep all 9 of them happy. Stockley, Paton, Tolaj, Curtis, Garrity, and Chislett will probably expect to play most games, and Benicio, Dipepa, and Edwards aren't here to sit around without minutes as they could have ended up elsewhere this summer.

I know there's injuries, form, fixture congestion etc but gut instinct is that one of those 9 goes. 

Regardless, there's depth to the squad.

Have to agree with others that this points to Chislett going.
