I do think we have a decent league 1 side now. I don’t want to expect too much but I think promotion has to be the aim. We have a seriously strong league 2 squad.

I think Carol said that they want a squad that if we did gain promotion it could hold its own in league one without lots of additions

Just going off comments post-Bath, I am expecting Kyle John to be signed.

Just think we need a bit of pace coming from somewhere, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a RM/RW to come in.

I was convinced we'd be a 4 at the back side this year (and that's what we've been playing in friendlies), but the more I look at it the more than 3 CBs seems to fit more.

Smith Heneghan Hall

Clarke Byers Croasdale Hart

Garrity

Stockley Tolaj

In my view, would get the best out of all of the key players. You'd then have the option of Curtis/Plant/Chislett if you wanted to bring on some wide players.

I guess we'll see what we play in the next three friendlies

Either:

Clark Heneghan Hall Hart

Croasdale Byers

Chislett Garrity Curtis

Stockley/Tolaj

OR

Smith Heneghan Hall

Clark Croasdale Byers Hart

Garrity

Stockley Tolaj/Paton/Dipepa

For me the second team looks stronger.

Wouldn't hit the squad limit if we went for Diamond Edwards on loan, only 20.

I actually think Heneghan has been signed as experienced cover for Smith and Hall which we did need. As the only cover was the inexperienced Debrah. Hall already provides the Height. A very good signing non the less and completes our requirements in central defence.

I’m sure they will all get similar game time with the amount of games we will play this season and also injuries occurring.

Curtis is far too good of a player to not be starting. Just shows how good our recruitment is that you can’t get him in your team. You’ve also missed Paton out. We’ve had some window.

Welcome to the lad hope he is a leader, if he is great Moore must see something in him ,so we have to trust his judgement .

A player who was relegated with Fleetwood but in a Sheffield Wed side under Moore which was very solid and won most games .

Could be a very good one let's hope he is .

Wer, if that’s the case then we must be signing more players because the majority of the squad will be out of contract. Especially the dead wood that we’ll struggle to move on.

No idea what starting xl will be .

Pick the 11 who can do the business then make the subs make sure the business is finished in style .

You cannot just look at a name and go he should start every player has to earn the shirt .

Hopefully Moore can put out his first 11 v Luton and let's see what they can produce.

You cannot just put two strikers up front who have scored loads at Aldershot and Queens Park and expect them bang them in immediately don't forget in there relative teams they come from they have had to gel with other players all I can say is hope they gel quickly with Vales personnel .

Lots to do yet

Yep, Curtis has not come here to be a sub.
