Summer transfer rumours and speculation

Personally don’t care what formation we go, the strength of the squad for once, not just the starting 11 is unreal. For me (at home) I'd be getting the pitch as big as possible, using as many subs as possible and going for it 100%. If we are tiring so will the opposition and I think we have the deepest squad in this league. Let’s use it.

Nice one I enjoyed that 👊🏻

So 10 new signings wow .

The one yesterday is pivotal and needed says he is a good organiser I hope he means by that he will be in the right place at the right time reading the game and blocking shots when they need be blocked .

Got a really big squad now which means competition for places

Got a feeling before sat someone is departing and will get us money so goes with best wishes

Who it will be who knows but it will be someone .

Team has a few weeks to GEL now and start scoring some goals and build confidence .

The guys think we will bounce back if things work out and that is good.  Beats us being relegation fodder.

All down to the manager and team now

Nobody we want to see depart will command a fee. Be lunacy for someone to pay for Jones,Lowe,Debrah or Grant.

I agree more will exit but for the life of me can't see anyone stumping up cash. Though strange things happened last week, so never say never.

I agree 100%. The 5 subs rule means that we can swap the whole of the forward options part way through the game now if we need to as we appear to have real credible options in reserve rather than "we have no one else" from the last few seasons. I'd like to see up press high and aggressively and not worry if 3 or 4 and shot after an hour.

Solid signing Heneghan on paper, I guess he was one of those who was evidently going to be on Moore's radar after leaving Fleetwood.  We need someone big, tall, organised and at times ain't afraid to just boot it up the pitch or out for a throw in when the defence is under pressure.  Hopefully he can provide that.

Not blaming anyone at the club(as I know deals for players take time) but just seems a bit odd we didn't get him in before the training camp in terms of fitness as he was a free agent as far as we're aware? Hopefully he's been in the gym and relatively up to speed anyway.

We got a fee for Loft.

Hopefully that is the case with using subs being used for tiring forward players. So often last season defenders were changed around 60 mins and the forwards left on. It normally coincided with us conceding a few minutes after the changes.

You'd have thought so but I get the impression it's 'company policy' at Vale now, the last few who've left when part way through a contract have gone for some sort of fee however average or crap they've been.  Perhaps unless they are over 30/32?(I'd be very surprised if anyone paid a fee for Lowe at 33/34 is he?) and Jones I'd drive anywhere for a box of oatcakes!

Can anyone who's seen the pre-season games say where DM has been playing Garrity? I just have a feeling he will use him alongside Byers as a box-to-box CM rather than behind the striker...

He was in the central two against Bath. Going on that 45 mins alone I can't help feeling that he'd be better further up but no doubt the manager knows better than me.

Cambridge paid a fee for Loft. Let Moore work his magic 💪🏻

Someone with his experience & hearing about him you’d expect professionalism. Comes across as the sort who looks after himself. Also he’s worked under the manager before so he will know what he’s all about
