Well said MBE. Any true Vale fan recognises Carol and Kevin. The sincerity shines through.

Not at all.  If you’ve ever stepped in between the sticks for a shooting practice you’ll know exactly what I mean.

Well everyone has their own opinions. I personally think he's a good commentator too. 

I say that having, some years back, done some match summarising and seeing just how difficult it is to call things live. I could never do it.

I also say that after being out of the area for a long time and hearing commentators from elsewhere - if you get a chance it's worth the comparison just to see how good he is compared to the competition. 

Finally, on a different note, I think these last few weeks have really shown the value of a dedicated Vale reporter. It was a good move to get Phil Bowers into the training camp. We've had loads of insight and interesting interviews, particularly the one with Carol. With the demise of the Sentinel daily reporting (excluding Mike B's excellent but not FOC newsletter), I think it's good to see the radio station putting a bit of time, effort and resources into free to air Vale coverage.

Exactly this. Shooting practice is not for keepers. They are just there to provide an additional obstacle for the strikers.

Not surprised Crawley are odds on to go down. As well as most of the play off team being sold off, checking today's transfers they've just signed a 27 year old CF from Havant & Waterlooville. 1 in 20 at step 5.

Mitch is looking proper trimmed & lean this pre season 💪🏻
