Let’s face it, he’s utter crap as a striker. And his career stats will show that he isn’t going to start banging on goals anytime soon.

Cambridge fans coming on to OVF and reading the comments are probably scratching their heads in amazement just as we were when we signed him from Bristol. Their fans were proved right and Ive seen little from Loft to hint that there is a goalscorer in there. Great bit of business for us and probably for the player too, unbelievable that he has gone to a League1 side.

Im delighted. It’s great news for us, he was comfortably the worst striker I’ve seen down the vale. But it’s also great news for him. I don’t think it was ever going to work for him here and a fresh start was needed. I’m just astounded it’s in league football and for a fee

Yet another great day for us Valiants. Am I dreaming? Are we really signing proper decent players in addition to offloading so.e who couldn't cut the mustard? Happy, happy days fellow Vale fans. I am trying to recall when was the last time I felt so, so optimistic. After all the years of drudgery, mundane games and false horizons I genuinely now believe there is a future. We really now have to show our thanks in the Owners and Management by backing our fabulous Club to the hilt.

I don’t know what is funnier, managing to get a fee for him or Loft somehow finding himself back in L1.

No lack of effort but dear lord, what an awful footballer.

Theyve walked in the door this summer and sorted the crap out.
