No chance. Got the one of the worst goal scoring records I’ve ever seen for a striker. A pub standard player playing in league 1 I’d be astounded if he suddenly starts banging them in.

Having said that I hope he does as I feel sorry for him.

Most absurd bit is, he gets a lifeline to league 1, while we spend the season in league 2 due in part to his lack of contribution. 
 

Cambridge must have seen something, perhaps thinking the rest of our side was so poor, Loft was just unfortunate with poor service.

With the sending off you are talking opinion  not fact. He has a history of getting angry, this is the same played who was in trouble for fighting a fan at Dundee the season before he joined us. It's at least as likely the sending off was the red mist again. He was certainly foolish to do that. You are free to have an opinion on a player, you can even have an opinion on the reason for a sending off but it's not a fact he got sent off on purpose, that is your opinion.

Dan Jones will be the hardest. With his injury record there will be a lot of concern about taking him on

Very true - managers will often feel they can get something out of a striker who's underperformed,  but how do you get something out of a defender who can't defend?

I haven't seen it myself but saw somebody say that some walsall fans on twitter and their forum have linked us to Danny Johnson ?
