The fraudcroft interview of him listing target after target that we missed out on. Seems a lifetime ago. This is like nothing ive ever seen before at the vale. In some sort of ways it feels like were the wrexham of the league this year making signings that and head and shoulders above what other teams are bringing in. 

 

I was so doom and gloom about vale and carol after last season. Carol got things horribly wrong and put her faith in the wrong person. Mistakes happen but boy is she putting it right. I was expecting a strong window with her trying to rebuild relationships between the fans and the club but <ovf censored> hell the sweety jar has been brought from harrods not normans poundland pick and mix. 
 

thank you carol. Ive not been this excited about a season in a long time. Can we fast forward 5 weeks !!!!

I finally blinked, and took the 12/1 as a bit of a fun flutter. Still seem fantastic odds given we have not yet even finished our business and those will only get shorter.

Absolutely buzzin and I for 1 Conner wait till season starts, all hope has been fully restored, probs a couple more still to come in to boalster the defence. Even had a cheeky little bet at 16/1.

Just goes to show what is possible when you don't trust the process.

When Vale fans were giving Big D some stick last season that if Big D stuck around he would attract s much better quality of player that we have not seen at Vale for a number of years and it’s improving right.

Its the most exciting pre-season that I can remember this century at least

Yep I agree WSU and add to that when players are signed at the end of the window they've usually missed preseason and ca 4-6 Lge/Lge Cup games and that's if they're fit to go straight in, otherwise it's bloody mid November before they're fit/match fit.

I'm very impressed and also impressed that the person, ie Darren Moore, who's job and reputation is on the line is responsible for and has the veto on all new signings as I understand it. I hope it all goes mega well for DM as he comes over as a AAA1*** guy.

Not to get too carried away BUT we might even WIN a TUESDAY night match!!!

On the Sheff Wednesday forum the general opinion on Byers is that he will piss this league and would do well in the league above.

Although one fan did comment about Stoke being a <ovf censored> hole as one of the reasons why he or she is surprised by the move. I clearly forgot that Sheffield is a beautiful city...

I was very happy with Stockley but I'm considerably more excited by Tolaj.
