I don’t get the logic of finishing 2nd bottom, having the chance to move on and signing up for more. Unless this squad has 10/11 new faces in it through rotation and gap-filling there’s no way we do anything next season, and resigning players just makes that less likely. Of course Willo might still come back as well, that’s happened before.

Even if he had double the amount of goals, and scored twice, I still wouldnt want him because he cant play a full 90 minutes. There’s no excuse for that. It’s your job. Id also question what the management team was doing allowing that. Im constantly hearing people claim that ‘we cant blame Moore because even pep couldnt get a tune out of these players’, but ill tell you for sure, pep wouldnt be having someone with uches fitness anywhere near his squad, no matter what level he was managing at.

Having listened to U’s fans waxing lyrical about him the last couple of years, he’s essentially their James Wilson equivalent - he’d be playing at a higher level but for his injury record and it’s that record that’s made him affordable for Cambridge.

It'd be frustrating if we resigned Uche - and bizarre given that Charlton wanted to sign him about 3 months ago- but I guess it depends on the calibre of people we sign around him. 

Seeing as we have a new manager who still has 5 years left on his contract, a new backroom team and are reassessing how we approach the footballing side of things, it's the ideal opportunity for a reboot and signing underwhelming players isn't going to provide the much needed refresh after the stink of the last year or two.

Mr H. Re signing Uche would be very similar to the position we were in at the beginning of the start of last season when we re signed James Wilson. We need a good clear out of the lower decks and to start all over again. At his age he should be in his prime, if this it then no one should be discussing anything with him. Let’s move on and hopefully so will Uche. 
Good to see that we’re getting information about our club, true or false from an Edinburgh media outlet.
