Leyton Orient (A) match thread - March 12th

sadly with current form I would settle for a scrappy one nil win but we look devoid of any confidence and goal scoring threat; I thought Wilson played very well on Saturday with good lay off play with no one running up to support him and as usual Massey spent most of his time lying down on the pitch and our defence looks  really weak on set pieces and Jones should be left back off the pitch and I support them completely and really hope we can halt the rot; I can’t go but will be there on Saturday but I am not very confident of avoiding relegation sadly

The question that comes to my mind is when in the first 10 mins will the opposition score their first goal ?

I would be surprised if the vale can get a goal tonight .  Or just play well . But all vale fans live in hope every game .

Yes I do agree I just cannot  believe the vale at times . I just would love to know what is wrong at port vale football club .  But we cannot do anything about it . It’s such a shame when THE VALE fan are so proud of the club and our Port vale badge .

I see that loft is out for a few games and Mitch Clark injured his leg in the warm up at Derby

and I hopchislet can play alongside Wilson but Massey spends most of his time warming up the crass but we need a slice of luck to win

Gonna try something new tonight which is not caring and watching champions league in the pub with friends, instead of vale on ifollow.

Hopefully this tricks the universe into a decent performance. The only thing that can jolt us out of this drudgery is superstition.

If I did care enough to pick a team - I'd like to see us go back to a combative 4-3-3. Hopefully Mitch Clarke can play a bit of the game.

From what I remember about orient when they played us at home they absolutely bossed the midfield and we're everything we wanted our team to be. Therefore we need to pack the midfield and get in their faces.

Porter,Brown and Widdrington for the midfield three.

Was with you on Saturday at 5.00pm.....no way was I watching on Tuesday. I'm an exile and have a season pass on iFollow. Didn't say anything to the Missus but when she asked me yesterday, "is there a game, tomorrow?" I caved and said yes so I'm committed to watching it now.....well that's my excuse anyway. I just know what's coming so I suppose it musr be some form of addiction?

Someone please help me........

If this approach works and Vale snatch a very unlikely win - does that mean you do not have to suffer watching Vale for the rest of the season, in order to give the team the best chance of avoiding the drop?

What a bind that would be..
