James Wilson can't play as a lone striker; he's neither strong enough to hold the ball up or quick enough to get behind teams. They've got to gamble on a out of contract striker. As we've got no threat the defence is always under pressure not to concede.  Any manager will struggle with our current forward options. 

We really didn't deserve a point. We played quite well for 20 minutes, then they pushed a centrehalf into the space Chislett was using well. Thereafter we never really looked dangerous.  A fortunate penalty but he did look to move his body to the flight of the ball, so if it did hit his arm technically correct.  At least before Christmas we could keep hold of the ball, now we struggle to do that.

Sadly our big players on the sidelines are going to miss too many games. If Garrity, Uch and Clark were likely to be back by the end of the month I think we'd be in with a chance.  They won't be.

Think 5,250, 150 Stevenage or so . Imo we deserved a point.

Must have been watching a different game. Along with Ojo, Wilson is the only other player with genuine quality and he ran himself into the ground for very little reward because the players around him are just not on his wavelength. Tried a lot of good things but unlikely to work with the players around him. We always look a better team with James Wilson on the pitch and its no coincidence that the vast majority of points we've picked up were done so when Wilson has been fit. The fact we are still so reliant on someone who can't stay fit is down to terrible recruitment from our director of football, and if he could stay fit he wouldn't be playing in League 1.

Wasn’t a pretty game as I predicted. Overall a draw probably was the fair result but that 15-20 mins after half time was no where near good enough not sure what was said at the break. Point could be massive come what may 👍🏻

Mate he’s been awful recently.Running around is the bare minimum you’d expect, maybe his partnership with Uche is the reason as they were working well together but he hasn’t look interested last few games which isn’t good enough. If we was so good there would be a championship team gambling on him for the 10-15 games not vale. This is his level
