I think Moore would be a very good appointment, possibly the best we could hope for. He will get us organised and make us a bit more direct. None of this passing the ball around just for the sake of it <ovf censored>.

I'm positive about him without having a lot of data / research to back my optimism. However, he's a central defender. This makes me nervous because Crosby seemed to have insufficient knowledge of or commitment to attacking. We have had the side to side problem. I feel our temp management team were far better yesterday.

Well until we get recruitment right and bring in some good forwards, having a manager that's attack minded would make little difference if we don't have players to put the ball in the net enough. At the moment I feel with the players we have our best bet would be to try and be a gritty, hard to beat side that looks to nick wins. I think Darren Moore suits that. We all want to see good football and goals, but ultimately we just want to see wins and unbeaten streaks even more.

If…….and IMHO it’s a MASSIVE IF…..we get Moore then even if we went down (which I believe is pretty much certain) then I’d back him to re-build a side capable of getting us back up. And that’s despite an incredibly tough looking L2 these days. The only worry with him would be if he didn’t feel he was being supported and did one if a bigger opportunity came up.

Irrespective of whether it’s Moore or someone else (Duff would be my 2nd choice) we have to remember that they are basically stuck with someone else’s squad. So it’s a free hit in my mind and relegation wouldn’t be on them.
