Why, as usual, are the other Vale players just watching disinterestedly instead of throwing their arms up in protest and backing up their mucker?

Don’t think these are world beaters by any stretch but they have more determined players who are prepared to run with the ball. This is not a witch hunt, but we have Loft who has been rubbish so far (and as I type gave it away in a shocking area nearly leading to a goal).
